Eric365
Just joined the forum, found a couple of videos on YouTube that lead me here while picking out cordless impact wrenches.I had always wanted a Dewalt but started searching and went with the m18 fuel 2763-22. Also got the m12 fuel 3/8 impact.I hated the fact that Dewalt never upgraded there 12v with a compact bullet style battery.btw I'm Eric and I'm from south Texas, Boiler maker in industrial field and do mechanical work for a hobby (Lsx fan).. DR99
Welcome to the forum Eric. Dewalt decided that a better grip was better than being more compact than Milwaukee with a stem pack style battery. Also Dewalt has pretty much neglected their 12v lineup for the most part now too. Dewalt wants to fill out the 20v max lineup first I think. We might see more 12v tools down the road when they have the resources to work on it. You can't beat any of the M12 and M18 fuel impacts they have great power for the money. I'm kinda biased as being a Milwaukee fan. I will say Dewalt has other cool tools like the battery powered only Framing Nailer, and Dewalt make more woodworking, and carpentery tools than Milwaukee offers like Tablesaws, and planers.
