roadhog96
I was looking at Bostitch tools and noticed a similarities with DeWalt then discovered Stanley, DeWalt, Bostitch, and Bosch are all the same company well sort of. http://bostitch.com/default.asp?TYPE=CATEGORY&CATEGORY=BOS%5FPOWER%5FTOOLS
DR99
Bosch has nothing to do with Stanley Black and Decker. All of the other brands you mentioned are part of Stanley Black and Decker though.Bosch owns Dremel, Rotozip, Skill, as tool companies they also own Freud, and Vermont American as companies that make consumables. Bosch also ones Hawera but I have never heard of that brand before it isn't sold in North America.
dwain
unsurprisingly, there is a lot of similarity to the Dewalt models, especially the batteries. They almost look like they could be interchangeable. The impact driver looks pretty different though. i believe MAC batteries ARE interchangeable with Dewalt...
NicholasShetley
MAC used to sell dewalt tools in the trucks so they probably thought a lot of mechanics would already have them.
