Mr. Yellow
Already seen briefly in one of DeWALT's videos, they now added a photo to their Facebook asking which tools drywallers usually carry on the job... that's no coincidence No idea when this will hit the shelves. Well not this year in Europe, but I have a feeling this will be an US first tool...I've had the opportunity to briefly test it earlier this year. Can't say anything just yet, but I'll tell you that I will ditch my 18V Protool gun when this comes out!

DR99
Is Dewalt having a big media event soon? Milwaukee had theirs later this year. I think it was done on purpose so things lined up on the holiday buying season. Dewalt has been doing the press release deal lately.

DR99
I wonder if Dewalt will have an attachment for collated screws. The Bosch brushless drywall gun has that ability.

Mr. Yellow
Also notice the oversized metal beltclip. A little thing, but very nice they thought of that.

Kenneth Denmark
Do you use the cut-out tool much when in working with drywall ? Back in the days when I work as a carpenter we never used it . It was first when I started with Dewalt I've seen it.

I love all the new tools you guys are sharing, but my bank account hates you for it..... I better start saving my pennies for all the new things coming out. DR99
I kinda like the oscillating multitool too cut out most electrical boxes when hanging rock. That's just me the rotary tools feel like controlled chaos but that's just me.
Mr. Yellow
I'm with you. The cut-out tool will not produce clean cuts like the multitool does.My rep asked me if I use this kind of tool. I did, cause I imported one from the US (previous 18v model), but hardly ever use it.Like you said, controlled chaos. Especially now they have a cordless multitool, that would be much easier and better to use.My rep didn't think of that, but kinda agreed on that one. Mr. Yellow
It can't come soon enough. Starting to dislike my Protool screwgun. No doubt I'll get the DeWALT.It's lighter as well, which is always good.
Samuel L.
I found a article from someone who went to STAFDA who saw the screw gun and talked with one of the dewalt project managers and he said there will be an attachment for collated screws that is going to be released the same time as they have the screw gun come out in spring of 2015.
RickyMcGrath
SWEET! I can ditch my rigid collated gun. Dewalt tried a collated attachment once and it crashed & burned.
