JoshMurrah
I just need a hedge trimmer, and possibly a chainsaw (unlikely I know), to completely swap over from my Greenworks stuff!!
Brien
I thought these were 40v tools. I can get on board with 20v around the house to replace my B&D 18v.
RickyMcGrath
They both come with a 5.0 battery and charger for $199. That's a pretty darn good deal.
JoshMurrah
Apparently DeWalt is jumping in with both feet this year into the OPE category, with 40v "pro" tools, and 20v home stuff. I'll be buying everything they put out 20v-wise. Maybe they'll even do an edger since the head on the trimmer doesn't rotate or take accessories. RickyMcGrath
What I don't understand is that when I contacted DeWalt last month to see about the 40V OPE release date, I said I'm looking for a job site blower and the 20v was never mentioned. It appears the 20v line is readily available but not listed on DeWalt's site.
Illini
They both come with a 5.0 battery and charger for $199. That's a pretty darn good deal. I'd have to agree with you on this being a really good deal. Considering it included a 5.0ah battery and charger, you get the trimmer or blower for next to nothing. Bigmikez
wow nice find on 20v blower guys it looks pretty high tech.

RickyMcGrath
I was looking for a bulb or pump blower for concrete anchors and found the DeWalt 20v blower. http://www.internationaltool.com/dewalt-dcbl720p1-20v-brushless-blower
madman_us
thats really cool to see a 20v blower, because everyone dewalt nut has those batteries and dont have to go with a higher voltage like 36V or 40V line
Mr. Yellow
Nice find Ricky! It says pre-order, shipping around July....

RickyMcGrath
Nice find Ricky! It says pre-order, shipping around July....It does? Where? Maybe because I'm on a mobile device?
Rtorres092382
This might be a silly question but do you think it might only take 5 ah batteries? I'm sure many of us who don't have the 5ah would like to use our existing 4ah.
ChrisK
That's not a silly question at all and although I don't know this, those lawn tools will more likely than not work with then3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 20v batteries. The question is if the 1.5 and 2.0 batteries would work. Makita is famous for, limiting certain battery amp ratings to certain tools.
RickyMcGrath
Even with a 5.0 the run time is only 18 minutes per the spec.
ChrisK
Yeah, that is going to be a real hard sell to the homeowner. I won the EGO blower and that will be awesome this spring and in the shop with great run time but the volatile is much different.
chadlanthier
So u can only get blown for 18 minutes.
Mr. Yellow
It does? Where? Maybe because I'm on a mobile device? It's kinda misleading. They say it's in stock, but the description says pre-order...
Rtorres092382
So realistically, if you have a large lawn with a boatload of leaves you're going to need a Batman styles utility belt filled with nothing but batteries? I will be the envy of all my neighbors.
RickyMcGrath
Must be the mobile site.
