The other day my wife walked into my shop, and she almost fell over. She be like, what the hell do u need all theses tools for, and there has to be at least $3000 in tools in here. I just nodded and agreed with the cost and said I've used them all at one point or another.

Haha that's funny. My main income goes straight to my wife. I can only afford to spend side job money on tools. I mean, I pretty much got everything I need already, but I'm new to the whole cordless tool market.

I like everything on your list except the impact driver. The 1/4 driver will not have hardly any torque, and sockets for it usually top out at 1/2 inch I believe. I would go with at least a 3/8 drive impact if not a 1/2 drive. 1/4 is ok for small stuff though, like the smaller 1/4 bolts you see on mowers and such.

Speaking of mowers, one of the reasons why I went for the 2604 is because my 10yo mower thought it would be a good idea to self destruct the recoil mechanism. So I cut the recoil mechanism off the mower with a cutting disk, using my Milwaukee of course ;) And I fashioned a home made adapter to put a 15/16 socket on the end, now I got electric start, and my 2604 will be the starter lol.

I have seen 18v cordless drills barely start a 12HP engine on youtube, so a 6.5HP push mower engine should be no problem for it. ;)

Thanks for the advice ProToolNut! And congrats on your new 2604! I should be getting paid soon, hopefully tomorrow, so definitely check back here for pictures later on. I'm gonna go check your thread now to oooooo and ahhhhhhh over your new drill, lol. Take care

That's funny. I just finished filling pretty much the same list. I got the 2603 instead of the 2604. I figured I didn't need the hammer drill with the sds drill. I got the 2654 instead of the 2653. I have the M12 fuel impact driver and haven't seen a time I needed more torque with 1/4" bits. The only place I would see to use more torque is with sockets so I just got the 3/8". It also has more torque.

Nalu nice buy man!! I usually see them for $399 man so $100 bucks off is awesome!

Thank you Bigmikez! A small tool shop here usually has some great deals once a month, otherwise they are overpriced. I couldn't pass this one up though

Congrats. I've been eyeing the 2530. My wallet is just saying to wait since I already have the 2731.

Let us know how you like them.

Thanks. I'm probably gonna pick up the 2731 next month. They don't carry it here in Hawaii, so I will have to special order it. I picked up the 2530 so I could get put myself on the M12 and M18 platforms. Haven't used any of the tools yet though, lol. I'll let you all know I how I like them.

Let us know what you think about the M12 Fuel saw. I'm curious to see how that performs compared to a traditional 18v tool

Yeah, I've been very curious about the performance of this saw as well. I'll make a short video this weekend. Maybe I'll slap together a workbench or a saw horse.

The only thing I can think of to kick it up a knotch would to actually saw through knotches in a piece of 2 by 4 or 4 by 4. Now that would be awesome to see, that Milwaukee power, and that 4.0 battery kicking ass in the summer time, and no matter what you do, it just won't die HAHA! :D

That's a good idea
