Justin Hernandez
. Yes it makes like a screeching sound and then it stops and doesn't do anything I'm gonna check the serial number like Jason said first and if it's under-warranty that will be nice! If not I'll be taking it apart to see if anything looks funny in there Thanks guys! I use that tool for everything it's so small and convent to use.No prob, it might be a gear failure I have fixed a few recip saws before sometimes you see the problem as soon as you open it
Charles Harris
I wasn't sure how their multi tools stacked up. I was also looking at the corded Bosch and Fein. Sounds like I may wait and find something else to get me into the 18v Mikwaukee line. Right now the OMT is the only tool I have a real need for. Thanks for the info Jason.Sent from my SM-N900V using TapatalkI have the Bosch MX30E. It's an awesome OMT.

The fuel one is probably much better, I will ask him next time I see him if he has had any problems and how he likes it. There is only a small handful of guys using Milwaukee here and he only has a few m18 tools.

Bigmikez
What hackzail should I get m18 or m12 fuelSent from my iPad using Tapatalk I have the brushed bro and I'm not gonna say it's the best cus from what I hear the fuel is the shiznit! For a DIY guy like me it's been good But mine currently took a crap and am looking at getting another one right now HD is having a buy a kit and get a free tool deal I'm thinking about picking up the hackzall with stick light that I've been wanting for $129 I think the fuel with light is $199 but I gotta check funds first... JerryNY
The regular m12 Hackzall is a handy little tool that works great in tight spaces, I love mine, but I think the m12 fuel Hackzall is the best all around combo of compact size, utility and power. The m18 is handy too but definitely more bulky and if you're needing bigger a full sized sawzall might be in order. I think the best combo would be a fuel m12 Hackzall and a full sized sawzall for the big stuff...

Duckie155
Seeing people post pictures of their red tools has made me feel not so bad for have the addiction. so i rounded up most of my Milwaukee tools, didn't drag my hand tools out and forgot to grab my fuel hammer drill( I think the number is 2406). Bremon
Awesome collection Duckie, how do you like the fuel bandsaw? Same question with regards to the m12 lantern and m18 flood (been eyeing up that octagon beast)
Duckie155
the fuel bandsaw is a beast. i cut thick strut or super strut which ever you prefer to call it, and it goes through it like butter. Also does wonders going through angle iron, trimmed a few light pole with it. milwaukee says it cuts faster than the corded bandsaws, and they dont lie about that. it cuts a couple seconds faster, but still faster. My only complaint is the dammed thing weighs a ton but that wieght alot helps it cut a bit quicker.the m12 lantern is handy for lighting small areas like attics or small rooms, also awesome having the usb port for charging your phone.the m18 flood is crazy bright, and it has numerous options for hanging which is great. With a 4.0 battery it will last about 4 hours or so and high, also stays pretty cool.i had picked it up just this last week becuase HD had a sale on em for 89$. Bremon
Nice, that bandsaw seems like a real beauty. I have the M12 lantern as well and prefer the M18 but the little one is definitely growing on me. I may have to pick up the M18 flood soon, $120 Canadian everywhere I see it though.
