WigWagWorkshop
Good Day Folks! Can a DW660 be used has a replacement for a Dremel tool? My Dremel just died after only 3 years of medium duty use, and would like to replace it with something other then another Dremel. Thank You in Advance for any advice, -Steven
RickyMcGrath
I do not believe so. I believe The DW660 is on/off. No variable speed. It's rated at 30,000 RPMS. A lot of Dremel style bits aren't rated up to 30,000 RPMS.
WigWagWorkshop
I ended up getting the DW660 for my Birthday, I think your right, not sure this would be a complete replacement for a Dremel, I guess I will have to pick up another Dremel kit. -Steven
