dwain Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Today i created a bolt/nut sizer, hot glue on perspex. I then also re-used some super strong magnets to help hold drill bits and impact bits to my new tools: 2
Poisonfangs85 Posted August 7, 2015 Report Posted August 7, 2015 Great job on the "life hacks"! I would like to have a sizing board like that too. It seems I am always trying to match up size and threads on something. I like the magnet idea as well. The impacts and drills I have bought in the past few years have no way to store an extra bit. This is frustrating for me when I work on commercial door hardware, going from a #2 to a #3 tip and losing it every time. Great job!
dwain Posted August 8, 2015 Author Report Posted August 8, 2015 i miss having a magnet since selling my dewalts, though they have on-board 1/4" bit storage. The Bosch only has one slot, the Milwaukee has two slots, but you really need a magnet to store regular drill bits.
ChrisK Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 Nice job Dwain. I wish my new Blsch came with a belt clip let alone a bit holder but....lice stuff though!

Nordraw Posted August 8, 2015 Report Posted August 8, 2015 Those rare earth magnets work well don't they? Nice job
