Chris Posted August 20, 2015 Report Share Posted August 20, 2015 A special week for a 105 year old war hero Great article honoring a true hero of our country, Laura Mallory, who was 1 of 2 or 3 African American women to work at Norfolk Navy Yard during WWII. Laura at the time was a welder and due to her small size (just like today) would work in all the tight holes and cavities of a ship.
