Petro0311 Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 I waited for a long time for this Dewalt tough radio to come out... Wasn't expecting the new milwaukee. Now it's a tough decision. I have both platforms already and I have three tough boxes... Which radio is best and why??
Gatorb888 Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 Which Milwaukee Radio? Their new one has 2 speakers and doesn't have bluetooth. The other one they have that came out in early 2014 has bluetooth, but I can't find anywhere how many speakers it has (i'm going to guess 2). The new dewalt has 4 speakers and 2 subwoofers and features all the bells and whistles. Bluetooth, Charger, USB Charger. It's also built into a tough system box. I think your decision should be a no brainer. 1
RickyMcGrath Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 I second that! Being as I just picked one up today, this is, hands down, the best job site radio available. Period.
Petro0311 Posted November 3, 2015 Author Report Posted November 3, 2015 The new Milwaukee has Bluetooth and is a charger... Up to 100 ft. I've been trying to figure how far away dewalts connects to Bluetooth. A lot of people really like the Milwaukee but they're both 199...
Gatorb888 Posted November 3, 2015 Report Posted November 3, 2015 This is the new Milwaukee radio: http://toolguyd.com/milwaukee-m18-jobsite-radio-2890/ - It has no bluetooth This is their bluetooth radio that came out early 2014 that I think you are talking about: http://toolguyd.com/milwaukee-m18-bluetooth-jobsite-radio-charger/ All bluetooth is similar, they advertise up to 100 ft of range, when in reality you get about 30' The new Dewalt radio is a charger as well.
Petro0311 Posted November 3, 2015 Author Report Posted November 3, 2015 Yea j was talking about the second one.. Which one is all around better?
