bonusbuilt1950
I'm new here and need a part for my Milwaukee drill, model 0222-1 . The part number is 38-50-5660 . It;s the spindle that the chuck threads onto. The threads on it are the weak point. I've been calling the service centers in my general area ( Conn. ), but no luck so far. The 0222-1 drill has 3-4 different spindles, depending on serial number. Mine falls within 430-384000 and 430-864000. I'd even buy a broken one for parts if it falls within those 2 serial numbers. Any suggestions for a source for obsolete parts? Any help is appreceated.I posted the pic of the part as my avatar so you could see what I need.TThanks,Barry
Eric - TIA
Check this out. They have a breakdown so it is easy to find and seems like they have a lot of stuff. http://www.toolpartsdirect.com/milwaukee/milwaukee-7.html Let me know if this helps. bonusbuilt1950
I've already tried them and alot of other places on the web. Most of these places are resellers of Milwaukee parts. My part is obsolete. It seems that it may have been a bad design part and failed alot. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.Barry
Eric - TIA
I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I find anything. The only other idea I have is to surf eBay and Craigslist to see if someone is selling one of those tools for cheap. Maybe you can part it out and get that piece.
