jswoger1986
Does Payton retire after 18 seasons or does he try to go for another year. I certainly see him retiring while he is on topSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Bmill25
Retire. He's on top right now and he's not getting any better. In fact, he didn't play very well at all. Best QB ever to play in my opinion.

T75R
I would say he retires. Best move for him. He's not hurt, he still has a brain and potential for broadcast or some other inside TV job
JimboS1ice
Time for him to hang it up and move on to the next thing, the guy hardly threw the ballJimboSent from my iPad using Tapatalk

kruton
I would have thought he would have hung it up with the neck injury. I'm pretty sure right now he's glad he didn't. I think he should retire. What could be better than your last game being a super bowl win and your 200th career win. Marc Harris
He might be tempted to play another year after winning it all yesterday. He needs to get while the gettin' is good.
kruton
I know it will take a shit load of HGH if he wants to win another superbowl! Hugh Jass
What you're all missing is that he is sooo close to breaking a dozen more records to dethrone the all time champions of the game. This is what has kept him in the game...I see another year as a strong possibility. I'd like for him to retire, but wouldn't blame him for going for broke. As for money? Get real... the Manning's made enough to live lavishly for two hundred years decades ago. It's not about that anymore.
unclebud
I think he will retire, with his 200th win. He will continue to make a lot of money with papa johns pizza and some other endorsements
Bmill25
Of course now that he's in trouble for a sexual assault, he may need to play another year to pay for the lawyers fees and the settlement.

JimboS1ice
It's a shame that something like this happens to a guy so late in his career, never been a manning fan but would suck for something that he did to come back and bite him in the rear end. Yea we all do some silly things from time to time but it's not until your on top until that microscope turns on. khariV
It's more a shame that it took twenty years for the woman to get anyone till listen to the fact that he shoved his junk in her face just because he could play football. How would you feel if it were you wife or worse yet, your daughter that had some privileged college athletes assault? I'm thinking that if it were me and I find it about it, the kid would never have had a professional career in the first place as he would have suffered a career ending injury pretty soon after he did it. Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI agree dude, whole situation sucks, the interesting thing is that there was a huge article in the newspaper when this happened but nothing ever came to light about it, last week on ESPN radio, the journalist who wrote the article was interviewed and unfortunately I didn't catch the whole thing but she discussed that the manning family tried to cover this up with compensation and the victim supposedly signed a document basically silencing her.... Well that worked, it's hard to say what we don't know happened, someone can seem like a good person and really they are just a terrible human so, I hate hearing about these cases because when it comes down to it it's he said she said, so who to really believe?JimboSent from my iPad using Tapatalk
