  1. Looks like It has replaced the old XR as they call the 20v max over seas for awhile http://www.dewalt.co.uk/powertools/productoverview/hierarchy/2543/
  2. For a good chunk of time Ford had way too many issues with the Powerstroke engines, but they brought the design and manufacturing in house from International truck and with the latest engine I haven't heard too many issues. You can't go wrong with any of these trucks to be honest. I will say Dodge now Ram really turned it around with the latest Ram pickup. I think I would take the new v6 truck I don't really town all that much and it gets like 25 mpg if I remember right. People wonder why they don't make compact pickups anymore that's why with incentives and such your not far off on the price and you get so much more truck for your money.
  3. I have to say I like a Ford F150 over a Gm pickup. I have had both an 06 F150 and a 08 Silverado. I liked the engine and ride of the Chevy over the Ford, but everything I think the F150 did better. Plus I'm not really sold on the 2014 redesigned trucks they look kind of funky.
  4. And yet its fine that they would make us spend 3 hours at the mall to look at things they like
  5. Yea its just one thing you wouldn't think would end up being the diamond in the rough is their tool boxes. They must have a great vendor for them.
  6. Yea I'm pretty mad at buying a crapsman toolbox as well as Conductor calls them. It's too small feels cheap I bought it a few years ago before tool blogs really took off so I didn't know as much back then. Harbor Freight is a really good place to buy tool boxes I dunno why it is you would think they would be crap like a lot of other things they sell.
  7. Wow that's pretty crazy I don't think we have anything close to that in Michigan the big box stores really killed the independent hardware stores.
  8. The kit with the new brushed drill and impact driver isn't a bad deal at 129. The selection of bonus tools kinda blows I really would have liked to see some of the tools I don't have like the ratchets and impact wrenches and jigsaw:) The only tool I don't have is the right angle drill which kinda cool.
  9. Conductor uses ratchets to store his sockets he thinks they would be lonely any other way. Btw nice review chase.
  10. I love a tool deal where you can sell something you don't need that's included and you can walk away with either some extra cash or reduce your purchase price. The only thing that pisses me off is who much bosch wants for their L-boxx pick and pluck foam 25 bucks for one piece that's insane.
  11. Bosch has a spot at one local HD that used to be the Hilti desk and they have everything on display from the big demo hammers to all of the laser levels they offer. It's just that store though it's one of the newest stores they have built. I'm curious to see what Menards carries they should be starting the construction of the new store by me soon they have cleared the land.
  12. Some people were complaining about the variable speed trigger instead of an on and off switch with speed setting. Both ways have their positives and negatives.
  13. The thing that gets me is I know some of the M12 and M18 tools are very trade oriented, but some of the other tools like impact wrenches and things are not carried in the store. How is some one supposed to know whats out their in the product line they should have a display with all the tools in the product line, and have a slick ordering system to order items that don't make sense to stock. Like the heated jackets they could totally have some display models so you could get the right size. Plus Milwaukee want's to run brushless and brushed tools at the same time how confusing it going to be with stores trying to stock this stuff. I know they want to keep the prices in line with other companies, but man the needs to layout the tool area better or add some more space. They just seem to stock a lot of tools no one is really looking at.
  14. I have the black I think I would feel like a Milwaukee sales rep if I had the red. Well your down in Florida the I don't think you will have the greatest need for a heated jacket unless your relocating.
  15. It's not that more expensive compared to a nice nice jacket as long as you buying it as a bare tool. The problem with the heated stuff is the big box stores don't stock the items in store. I get so many people wondering why my jacket has a glowing light on it and once I tell them they think its the coolest thing. If they could get the costs down to around 60-70 for the bare tool jackets and 120 for a full kit they would sell much better. Home Depot should have an endcap or something for them.
  16. Yea I saw that also on Toolguyd's page I don't have any Bosch 12v tools so it was pretty boring for me, but for some people they might be excited the heated jackets are pretty nice for cold climates.
  17. Another plus is the Diesel engine sips fuel compared to the gas powered mowers my friends craftsman mowing like an acre and a 1/2 was using 3-4 gallons of gas per mow. He uses his Kuobta more for yard projects than mowing, but he has a lot of trees and stuff to mow around so a zero turn mower would be the preferable option he takes the lazy way out and has a lawn service do it anyhow. I just wish I was one of Conductors 4 kids getting to drive a tractor like that to cut the grass would have been awesome

The cordless hot glue gun is pretty cool and would sell pretty well I would think it would be an awesome holiday stocking stuffer. They also have a 12v rotaryhammer Skill is pretty useless otherwise with their product line except for the skill saw.

Wow, I just looked and they have ton's of tools they haven't released over here yet. I don't get why they wouldn't release them over here some of them looked pretty interesting.
  20. I thought they didn't want to carry the premium brands because of the price the average homeowner has a limit on how much they are going to spend on a tool. Lowes is insane in thinking they can charge that much for poor a lesser quality tool.
  21. Hilti is crazy expensive anywhere I think, and the kicker is the 18v cordless tools are made in China like most power tools now at those prices you think they could build somewhere else.
  22. That's funny its the opposite in Canada than the US.
  23. The Milwaukee fuel with compact batteries is cheaper by quite a few dollars than the Dewalt 3 speed impact is 279 for the compact kit verses 229 for the fuel with compact batteries, but then again price isn't everything. I have used the Dewalt 3 speed impact before and there was nothing wrong with it, but I still like my Fuel impact more. If some one gave me a free Dewalt product I'm not going to go eww and run away like a little girl I have nothing against them now when I bought my 20v kit though I was annoyed with the lack of tools at the start, but thats what you get for being an early adopter.
  24. I dunno if they will have it next year who knows with Milwaukee though they put new tools out fast. They might make a compact M18 fuel though if they see Dewalt poaching a ton of sales. Milwaukee has one of the most powerful brushless drills and impacts out there, so they wouldn't want to change that I'm pretty sure the Dewalt isn't even closes to the Milwaukee in power Dewalt chose to have runtime and weight and size as the priorities on that tool design.
  25. The deals are online only prices and they are only good for that day. I have seen some pretty good deals before I got a good deal on a corded rototiller and a few other things.
