  1. Yea that's the tough call the M12 or Boombox. The M12 is nice that it is possible to put in a case for storage and movement. My complaint on the M12 radio is it needs an ac to dc adapter if you want to plug it in the wall. I never do that anyways the batteries always end being good enough. I don't think Milwaukee will ever come out with a jobsite radio as nice as the Bosch Power box no one really comes close to how feature rich and durablity. Like conductor mentioned its probably going to be at least a year this model is getting older I would love to see bluetooth or wifi fore better music streaming in the new model.
  2. Yea the M12 endcap an the store I go to the most has missing display tools and spots on the shelves it looks like hell. I just wondered if TTI used the same reps for all the brands which you confirmed. Yea it takes a long time for new tools to make into most of the stores compared to how quick it pops up on the Home Depot webpage.
  3. You wouldn't happen to know what the patent issue was with the lithium batteries was? I know some one got some revenge because Dewalt was vicious at anyone releasing a radio charger that's why so few tools makers have one they don't want to pay the big fat royalty check to Dewalt. I heard the patent has ran out now, but now with having the compact M12 radio I don't want a huge boom box anymore it's small and easy to carry. One thing I would like to see from Milwaukee is a Multi battery charger like they have for the m18.
  4. I wonder if some of the people that never post are marketing people for tool companies. I know people like to lurk but you wonder why they are doing it this is not a forum that's full of mean people playing video games. I guess we like Milwaukee tools a little too much for some people.
  5. Still amazes me Dewalt was so late on the Multitool bandwagon they are what 3-4 years late compared to bosch and such right?
  6. I think Lowes.com screwed up putting the model number into Google only gets the Lowes page for the tool. This tool might be under a media embargo still oops. not like it really matters. Good work for Jeth finding this. he scooped all the major tool sites.
  7. It's not a horrible store for some things it's really for set up for back yard mechanics and diy type people not all the tools are bad some are pretty hard too fuck up like their jacks and jack stands and rolling tool boxes are known as decent quality for the price. They are also not a bad place for consumables either I really never go because there isn't one that's in my general area compared to other stores.
  8. Yea it's one of those idea's that's great in theory, but it just turns people off from using the forum. I just think spammers should be forced to do manual labor with the worst tools for the job. Like some horrible tool from harbor freight.

    Blucave storage

That's Harbor Freight for you, but they know they are known for good deals on stuff like jack stands and auto jacks so they can't make them too horrible.

The Harbor Freight SDS drill for 89 bucks gets pretty good reviews, but the only thing is Harbor Freight is so hit and miss when it comes to tool quality as a whole. I don't do a whole lot of drilling in concrete or masonry, but sds drills are so much better when drilling larger holes than a hammer drill. Hammer drills are so vibrate like hell and make a crap load of noise when you need to use them. This is one Harbor Freight tool I wouldn't mind the TIA guys to put through its paces.

If you really look some of the tools they market to diy'ers in Europe seem to be really bad they make Chicago Electric look like Dewalt or Milwaukee.

    Blucave storage

Looks cool and an interesting concept, but It looks like it's not sold in North America yet.
  13. Your Milwaukee hammer is more expensive than those fancy titanium hammers.
  14. Yea that's one thing about the L-boxes and other cases like that they are great for storing tools you use and put them away after.. They are just not setup for repeated use like grabbing at a certain tool all the time.
  15. I really wish batteries packs were interchangeable but that's how they lock you in to the brand. Ever brand has their hit and miss tools. The only thing with Milwaukee right now its they are on a roll releasing new tools right now.
  16. Saw this on slickdeals today. I hope Chase does not get too mad at me for posting on this about the new Dewalt brushless tools being on sale right now. http://slickdeals.net/f/6126958-DEWALT-SALE-DEWALT-DCK286D2-20V-MAX-XR-Cordless-Hammer-Drill-Brushless-Impact-Driver-Combo-Kit-Free-20V-XR-2Ah-Battery-More-229-AC-FS-CPODewalt-TylerTool
  17. Here is the detailed wikipedia on a die grinder, but if you don't want to read the whole thing I will try too summaries it It was used in early tool and die making before CNC machines were build to do shapes milling machines could not do. Now they are used on a ton of things from auto body work to general metal working. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Die_grinder
  18. Saw this from another tool website and you just have to be amazed at what he did with 3/4 inch plywood for the most part.
  19. I was wondering Joe M if your store has started to stock M12 Fuel tools yet the store by me has sold all the old m12 kits and is now trying to get rid of the bare tools. The whole M12 display looked horrible though is their different reps for Ryobi verses Milwaukee tools? The Ryobi display is always looking nice and maintained.
  20. The rubber coated belt clip is a nice idea especially with the Milwaukee M12 fuel tools with the compact batteries it really does not want to stand upright, and I could see a belt clip rubbing the wrong way leaving a nasty scratch. People are plasti dipping everything though lately from car rims to car grills if they don't like the chrome look or if it looks worn out people like how its removable.
  21. A few times at the clearance table I know they put out returns and some of the tools had some seriously hard wear or rust on them plus missing parts I would never pay what they were asking, or why they would even bother trying to sell it it was fit for the trash. I wonder how that happens at the return desk why any power tool box isn't opened to check if they are not full of sand or anything it wasn't supposed to be. Some people could make the packaging look factory sealed, and if i buy it and find out it was full of bricks is the manager going to believe me.
  22. I get it on high dollar items, but sometimes they are just being stupid trying to flag someone from another department too look it over. The Home Depot is the worst for me they are either checking every single item number and comparing or they take it no problem it all depends on who's working at that time.
  23. Dremel is owned by Bosch which is kind of funny some people really like their tools I personally never bought any of their tools as I had M12 batteries so the M12 rotary tool was fairly cheap as a bare tool. It seems like the 8220 is just an lightly updated version of the 8200 so if there is a huge price difference I would get the cheaper tool. I don't think Milwaukee has a cordless die grinder unless you are talking about a disk cutting grinder.
  24. Yea there is a fine line on raising hell you gotta be an asshole but you don't want to be too big of one its gotta be like a silent rage.
  25. I wonder if it will be released like the M12 sds just like a Facebook post saying hey we just made this awesome new tool. They actually changed up quite a few things on the M12 brushless sds drill the battery fits different so its more compact, and the hammer area looks like its beefier
