  1. If Makita is having any problems updating their tools. I will say that Makita does know how to make a great calender though. Miss Makita and Seniorita Makita are not bad too look at while they hold various power tools.
  2. The only thing I can think of if the battery isn't showing an error on the charger is that either the battery does have a fault and the charger is not noticing the problem, or there is an issue with the battery power contacts and the tool power contacts and they are not connecting thus giving no power. Dang sears is really cheap with the warranty stuff now 1 year parts 90 days labor that's pretty crappy I think ryobi does atleast 3 years on their tools.
  3. I know its hard not wanting to help, but it's best not to get involved with any robbery/theft situation unless you see that some one is under a direct threat. I know the laws in Florida are pro self defence the risk of a lawsuit from Lowes if an employee was injured to the guys doing the robbery or some one who decides to sure for some crazy reason. I know these people cost us higher prices in the store at one Lowes by me a lady was offering to buy my stuff on a gift card she had I really wasn't buying just looking but I told the manager this woman was bothering people at the door asking to do this he said its a pretty common scam they swipe an item and then return it for store credit and then try to get a cash deal from some on else.
  4. Well it also helps if you set the forum to have new accounts authorized by a moderator before they are allowed to post. It's annoying for new members but on lower activity forums spammers love to go after them.
  5. The only thing is they do get sent a lot of tools that the TIA guys never get review samples of. They had a whole bunch of videos on the Max high psi nailers and such.

    BITS!

Never seen the before and they are made in the USA that's kinda sad. I think one of the few things Milwaukee tool still makes here is sawzall blades. I guess they are a high margin product to make, or they just can't get the quality overseas.
  7. The last Makita video was pretty much some stuff the shot at world of concrete. I haven't heard a ton from Makita but they have put out a few updated and new tools out.
  8. Wow this is an older thread that got bumped up a lot of interesting information though. It's pretty crazy Bosch still hasn't released that core impact driver, and its getting close to over a year from when they announced it.
  9. Yea, I think the TIA guys are off the list for getting the new Makita tools after burning up and sawing one of their new at the time brushless drills in 1/2.
  10. Converted from Metric into Imperial its like 6 and a 1/4 inches.
  11. Either replace the carb or give it a really good cleaning either the jet or float bowl is probably gummed up from bad gas if you can't afford to replace the carb get the rebuild kit for it..
  12. Yea, vertical integration never quite worked out like Henry Ford wanted it to. It's pretty ironic now how little of the car is made by the actual car company now they just make the body panels, engine, and transmission for the most part.
  13. You also need have a warning saying to all the all other reciprocating saws need to stay away this saw its too powerful to be near them.
  14. If you look at the sign on the car the Confident Driving School sign is pretty ironic.
  15. Yea that M12 is really sweet for plumbers and electricians. The pro press plumbing tools look really nice too use, but I could never afford one for as much plumbing as I do. They have some sweet tools for plumbers out right now.
  16. I think we will see a phased release with groups of m12 and m18 tools. The thing I wonder is the brushless motor the same as the ones they use in current drill, impact driver, and compact impact wrench? I just wonder how they beefed up things for the high torque impact wrench and saws that's all.
  17. Well I'm working on a koi pond but getting the edging around the pond looking right is driving me nuts. I need Chases Youth and use to the Fla heat and humidity when it gets 88 and really sticky its just miserable to work outside. Us michiganders don't handle extreme heat or cold well.
  18. Yea the batteries seem like the weak point on Ridgid tools you should be able to get them to warranty it though
  19. Yea forgot they don't have a porta band yet for the 20v max line yet. I'm glad I'm with the M18 line at least I can get tools on the same battery platform. You would have to buy a whole kit with dewalt or have the older stem batteries.
  20. Plus the name Barnaby really annoys me for some reason.
  21. Yea but those new zero turn mowers look so dam sexy lined up at a dealer of your choice. Wish I had enough land where a riding lawnmower would be needed.
  22. Yep I live in the good ole Detroit metro area
  23. I try to support them because they are from Michigan so I do want to support them, but it's pretty much a staged high production tool review. I never seen them really bash a tool
  24. Yea from reading online it's getting consistent warranty service with Ridgid tools not all Home Depot stores deal with LSA related issues.
