  2. Thanks for pointing that out Eric. Just down the street from me, maybe a 1/4 mile is an awesome ice cream stand in an old but really cute house. The house next to that is similar, and really cute. Both house? Sears kit houses!
  3. Jason, I have never gotten a good deal at Lowes. I've gotten some decent stuff there but not what I would consider to be a "good" deal.
  4. Best video thus far Jimbo. Great job. Naturally I like my yellow tools and I'm really impressed with what yellow has done. Kudos to big red too, those are hard tests for any cordless tool and they seemed to pretty well too.
  5. Here's a link to the aforementioned ereplacement parts site. You didn't specify the model in the first post so good luck with the list! http://www.ereplacementparts.com/craftsman-reciprocating-saw-parts-c-158286_171668.html
  6. Yeah Tacomas are pretty nice, but getting the ATV in there plus the super heavy duty towing ability AND the ability to put my future in a safe seat trumped my last Tundra four door! This thing is cavernous!
  7. Thanks Jimbo, just brought her home. They added heated seats and a spray in bed liner. Sweeeeeeeeeeet. The whole back window disappears via power. Hummina hummina hummina!!!!
  8. Well....it's not technically my shop but it kind of is????? Introducing the new, improved Monstah truck Tundra CrewMax SR5 TRD. Capable of allowing for a rear facing combination child seat, twenty seven adults plus dining facilities and the ability to tow a two axle trailer with two horses and still have room for a dozen sheets of the finest cabinet grade plywood!
  9. Dewalt has a way of making an ordinary VW look totally bad ass. Nice ride Kenneth.

Also, for the Carvex accessory kit you get. The base Carvex doesn't come with a lot but the base set is pretty amazing. It has a circle cutting base that is amazing and an articulating base that allows the machine to bisect any angle while maintains contact with both sides. Multi material bases etc. pretty neat kit.

I've got many Systainers and maybe a half dozen k boxxes Jimbo. It is truly preference. I love the Systainers, super easy and I've picked up a bunch of specialized ones with drawer etc and spent some time moving my Domino DF500 into one of the new sysports and loaded the pull out drawer with three common types of tenons that I use. The Bosch ones have a larger footprint but I think it's easier to stack the Systainers as there is one moving part to secure the, whereas there are two on the l boxxes. The l boxxes are really well constructed and I like them too. It's really what you are looking for. If you want storage that is neat, professional and keeps things well organized with multiple ways of accessing tools, the Systainer or l boxx system will serve quite well. If you want waterproof super durable boxes the Dewalt tough system is the way to go. A cheaper alternative is the Dewalt tstack system. I've got one of each of the latter and they are both great boxes. The problem, like all cordless tool systems is, you really can't mix and match across the brands. So when you pick one it is easier to stay. Also for prices, the Tanos Systainers and Sortimo l boxxes are comparable in price in most cases, Systainer beats them, in some areas whereas l boxx beats Systainer in some areas. Dan isn't a fan of the l boxxes but I like mine. I just have more Festools than Bosch' and am well entrenched in the Systainer line and truthfully I do like them better. I'll try to post some pics of the storage units I have.

It's actually why I gave the price. It's a phenomenal machine with the brushless motor for a decent (sure it's expensive but it ain't made in China) price and includes a premium case to boot plus couple with the DC, the dust shield and the blade insert there is no chip out and the dust is t really an issue.

Do it John! Absolutely awesome machine! Bosch really did good with this one! If the sheet sander comes down it'll be next up but as it stands I'll probably get the LS130 from Festool. The Bosch hasn't come down yet

Jimbo, $365 with free shipping for either the barrel grip or the top handle and a Systainer 2. The big thing is the accessory kit. Crazy accessories.

    Uhhhhh......well......uhhhhhhhh.......that's a typo. Yeah! That's it! It's a typo!!!!!!
  23. Do you think that'll ever make its way here @kornomaniac?
  24. Well Festool did this with the Ti15....sort of. It's an impact driver with a lock out ring you can add to allow the tool to be used as a drill. They got a lot of flack about the gun but is is actually a very capable 15v impactor but as a drill it's being tasked with two much. No gear box just an adjustable speed selector. I've had mine for quite a while and love it as an impactor and it does okay as a drill but it is limited by the size when you add the coupling ring and the centrotec or a Jacobs chuck (I tend to borrow my T18s Jacobs chuck but it's easier to use the Ti15 for what it is really designed to do....be a lightweight brushless impact driver. It does just great in this task. Leave the drilling to my T18 or CXS. I think Makita has been plagued by this same issue and @BK13 said it best.....why on Earth have ONE tool when you can have four? Sometimes when it comes to power tools there are only two that I can really think of that accomplish the multi use function and are great at it....the Table Saw (tons of jigs) and of course....the absolute Jack of All Trades and MASTER OF ALL TRADES....the router. It really is amazing that the Makita machine has been out for so long but it's is not readily seen in shops or work sites. And as far as Festools Ti15, they stopped making it last year. It's a darn shame too, it's a great impactor. And coupled with the fact that like all cordless Festools you can use the battery pack it was maximized for and any battery pack of lower voltage. This one uses 15v and 12v batteries. And their batteries are awesome. I'd love to see this Makita first hand but cannot see spending my money on it as I have all the bases covered.
