  1. I'm with NER, it would be awesome for them to do what Dewalt did and make the compact batteries for on an inner slide. Regardless....SUPER COOL LOOKING! Can't wait to see those guys get released!

    L-Boxx Question/Rant

BK, I've got the ROS65VCL. Absolutely love the machine. Generally speaking Bosch sells the tools with the inserts or none and in many cases, tool only with the l boxx. I just bought the brushless hammer drill from HD tool only and it came with the insert. I think Bosch wants you to buy the Sortimo cases on their own. They are pretty expensive, less than the Dewalt cases, a little less than the standard Systainers, but have a ton of variety. I think I currently have about six l boxxes, three 1a's, one 1, one 2 and one 3. With Festool, my tools come packaged in a sized Tanos Systainer. Thus far my MXH multi tool and my ROS65VCL came in l boxes. Truthfully I keep all of my cordless Bosch tools out of the boxes with my ROS snuggled up in its l boxx in a drawer u der my assembly table.
  3. So your friend is having his power stolen by his neighbor? WTH??
  4. I'll bring that up to Conductor. That's an AWESOME idea!
  5. Exactly! Would be a real convenience. Not necessary especially whereas I'm not a contractor but it would be nice. Not too expensive either.
  6. Maybe some orange flames in the side too????? Cool stuff and I was looking at that Neutrik set up for a few of my non Festool tools I use a lot of, namely my Bosch ROS and Router.
  7. I think what your reading the is the battery specs on the Mileaukee site. They put both the tool stats as well as the battery stats in the same description bar. I think the button is actually the two speed transmission for the saw. I currently have two jig saws. One is the Carvex and the other is the brushless barrel grip jig saw and both are excellent machines. Top tier in my opinion. I've added a couple of videos of both machines in action in my shop you should be able to search for them if you want to watch them. I'm of the opinion that the Carvex is literally the best jig on the market though anyone with a $700 Mafell PC01 might disagree. My Makita 18v is an absolutely awesome machine with very high standards. I got it for when I work outside and dust collection isn't a big deal but since I got it, I use it quite a bit in the shop if I need to make quick cuts. I'm sure the Milwaukee will be a decent machine too though.
  8. I'm not sure why Milwaukee hasn't released this one here in the ISA. Bosch has a 12v and 18v version too but NAINA. Maybe copyright law? I don't know that I'm just asking? Maybe it still has to clear UL.

  15. Great video Dwain! Not going to change my brands but looks like a sweet impact driver!
  16. MmmmmmmmmmmOPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!
  17. Well Mr Roundtree......meh. It's not too bad but the nozzle only opens about a 1/3 of an inch and with the nozzle off its maybe 3/4" and loses its focused suction. It's great for what I use it for but because of the limitation to getting stuff into the machine I'm not sure it's what you want. Truthfully, I love it. It picks up around the saw and on my work table really well for the little stuff. Larger chunks, meh.
  18. I've got the Bosch. It's okay. I use it to clean my work tables and saw table but anything larger than fine shavings it can not make the nozzle. Curious how this is compared. I like the size of the Bosch though.
  19. Same here, get the kit for the fifty or so extra bucks. You will end up paying more when you come to the realization you want both tools
