  1. Awesome review Oz! That looks like a really sweet machine.
  2. All the 18v batteries have indicators. The 12v tools have the indicators on the tool just like Milwaukee. The lights on the IDH182 are on a ring around the chuck and are actually quite good. I'm assuming you mean that older impact (brushed) which has the light in the standard location?
  3. Thanks Kruton. I can't wait to get this thing together plus the 15% off minus a few hundred tool dollars! And HELIX cutter head!!!!! Sweeeeeeeet
  4. I'd love to Jason, but that thing weighs a ton. I'll try to put together something tomorrow. The base is out, I have to get some casters and make a rolling cart so I'll inbox the actual unit and show what this beast looks linked. All 361 pounds of it!
  5. You'll be happy with the French cleat system. I have made three cabinet carcasses open faced so I can readily access the tools in them. Plus with my new jointer I just got its awesome cause I just slid the carcasses to another area.
  6. I actually have a Craftsman 9hp. I've had it maybe seven years now. I want a new one but you can't kill mine so I guess I'll keep on with big red. Plus the light helps out.
  7. Hahaha! Not only a jointer but a Powermatic 6" with the Helical Cutter head!!!!!!!! OhhhhhhhhYeah!!!!!!!!!
  8. I wish guys! 50 cal is right up my alley!!

Yeah 698 here too. I don't need it though. Wouldn't be bad in my shop though

According to Stuart HD has the new brushless Ridgid hammer and brushless circular saw out for $199. They do in fact have them at my store but i didn't notice if the saw was brushless. Hmmmmmmm.,,,,,do I need ANOTHER tool line ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??
  13. Oh and my Bosch IDH182 brushless impact with wireless set up? Absolutely awesome machine. Grip is fantastic, super powerful, not overly load, extremely compact. My only gripe is the 1/4" shank....you need to use long bits or a bit holder or the short bits get stuck in the 1/2" shank! Fantastic tool though.
  14. Well to reiterate what Dwain said, I've got the MXH multi tool and it is absolutely phenomenal! Plus the new batteries they just introduced, the 6.0 and the wireless 4.0 is a real nice thing. I've got so many different platforms in my shop it's scary but everybody brings something to my shop. Even Ryobi, that air strike Brad is awesome! No increasing my Makita line again with some phenomenal tools, it's pure chaos down there!!! I agree with Jason and Petros too, battery line plus psyche!!! This post is fun to read!
  15. That makes these bad boys one more step from being permanent floating cities with their own manufacturing capacities. I watched some movie when I was a kid about these guys n this massive space station with the huuuuuge gardens. Next stop for super carrier......farms. Fresh bed and parsley. Oh yeah......and Tomahawk missiles.
  16. I have a couple of Gladiator wall units but truthfully I am building a bunch of carcasses and hanging the, on French cleats at about 30* cuts. They work awesome plus if I make the runners long enough I can slide the cabinet carcass along and add more. The two Gladiator cabinets are used for: 1- Woodturning supplies and some waxes. 2- Festool supplies as well as spare batteries, mostly Domino tenons and Kapex blades and Domino cutters. The three carcasses are used for Systainers of tools, saw blades, clamps, glue and fasteners etc.
  17. I love these posts Comp, it's really cool seeing you piece these things together. Still love those reindeer, what an awesome project.
  18. That's awesome Comp. I've been wanting to try one of those for a while.
