  2. Congratulations Phil!!! If your open to this, I just had my first borne, a beautiful son. And I'm 46 im really happy for you bro. That is wonderful news and thought and prayers for you and your wife dude!
  3. No problems dude. That's why I make the big bucks
  4. Not me but I'm actually looking to purchase one this spring. Stuart did a pretty cool write up on this a few weeks ago over at Toolguyd.
  5. Yeah, I had three in my last shop. I've got over 20 parallel clamps from Bessel and Jet plus a bunch of Dewalt XL clamps and then a bunch of smaller F clamps. I should've brought them with me from the last shop but all of my work benches and racks stayed. Time was an issue and so was space. Those pods I rented couldn't hold all of our stuff so my brother and my friend Guy got a lot of mobile stations and benches.
  6. Yeah I've got a couple more than that, that didn't pose. Union conflicts and all
  7. I gotta say....love that Dewalt 20v framer. Love that thing! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. Well, I finally got to do some work downstairs. Not much, but I'm a busy dad now soooooo.... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  9. Welcome to the forums Yuri
  10. I chose the low angle because it is really a perfect pitch for light removal and trim work and it is really useful in cutting away laminate too, believe it or not. The adjustable mouth is really useful to have to especially when making those deeper cuts. Of if you really want to go nuts, I highly recommend a router plane. I ended up getting two over the last two years, one from Lie Nielsen and one from Veritas. I actually like the Veritas one more, I was able to get a special cutter set to go with it but the router plane is awesome for cleaning up dados and also making custom inlay.
  11. Block plane is the bees knees bro. I ended up getting a Lie Nielsen low angle adjustable mouth block plane.... https://www.lie-nielsen.com/product/block-planes/adjustable-mouth-block-planes-?node=4072 the tools is awesome. I actually use that all of the time and you can get a Stanley block plane on eBay for $20 easily with only a little tuning up needed. Honestly, the block plane should be right up there if your going to try your hand with these.
  12. Nice pick up Rich. Now comes the slippery slope! I bought a couple of no 4 Stanley's and a Bedrock no5 all to re finish but I've got a thing for specialty planes. The Jointer planes I really haven't gotten into. Looks like a solid little plane. Also, I watched a really cool video on sandpaper sharpening that Jay Bates put out. Might want to try that before the diamond stones, a little cheaper. Also Paul Sellers has some AWESOME videos on sharpening too! Can't wait to see what you can do with that no 5 though, looks to be in really decent shape!
  13. That's a pretty sweet deal for a stock mistake. I got mine on eBay for a decent price, not great but decent. I'm heading down to the shop now and though I don't think I'll get to it, who knows? Maybe today
  14. Actually I got the 1000HD, one below yours. My bad, I just went and looked at the box.
  15. That's hysterical Comp. I just got mine in the mail myself. I have to put my Sawstop back together and get this beast on.
  16. Mike....I'm 25% Italian. Say the words and I'll hop a red eye and make 25% of him disappear ;{
  17. Well.....for starters, I am deeply offended by the color red Im more of a blue green yellow kind of guy. My home shuddered when I bought a 12v heated hoodie from Milwaukee
  18. As much as the guys might laugh at me that Surge is a really cool tool and I'd really like to get one.
