  1. Most of the dust extractors I've seen are wet dry vacs (shop vac) all though shop vac is a brand sort of like Kleenex is tissue and q tips are cotton swabs. But not all wet dry vacs are dust extractors. From what I've seen dust extractors usually have tech built in that cleans the filters either manual automatic or semi automatic. This is useful because dust can clog up a filter even before the tank gets a tenth full. Dust extractors are a step up from wet dry vacs with premium features and are usually pretty quiet. They also cost a lot more.
  2. Thanks guys, that would be great DR99
  3. I seen those at the store they look nice, wouldn't mind a set
  4. probably for the amish, I remember seeing a miter saw retrofitted with a gas engine for them a while back- take that damn english technology!!! LOL
  5. lol I ask myself the same thing after I review the footage, it happens out of instinct or something as I'm not even conscious of doing it as I do it lol
  6. Not too long ago Ridgid came out with the similar kit R9000SB with a new model 12V 3/8" drill and impact driver with a pair of 1.5ah batteries for $99. Back then the deal was amazing, now they made the deal better with one 2.0 and one 4.0 ah battery. I was able to try them out and see how they performed, check it out see what you guys think
  7. I think it has 2.1 amps output so if your cell phone requires less amps to charge it will charge at full speed. Like my cell charges in about 1.1 amps so it gets charged just as fast as getting plugged into the wall charger. It won't charge anything faster than what your cell phone charges at if it requires less amps than 2.1 , if it did the battery would explode probably. If your mobile device like let's say a tablet requires more than 2.1 amps to charge it will still charge it just maxed out at 2.1 amps so it won't be as fast at the wall charger if your wall charger is 3-4 amps for example.
  8. more bluetooth radio chargers- wishlist- I want to see a compact dewalt 20/12v bluetooth radio/charger and a m12 bluetooth radio charger- heated jackets with heated sleeves 12v only bluetooth speakers brushless 18v miter saws 36v brushless miter saws and table saws full line of cordless 18v nailers 18v inflator/air compressors from pro brands - I shouldn't have to go to a diy brand to get one
  9. nice! lots of great features
  10. good deals. I like the free miter saw stand deal- speaking of tool nut I got a bunch of their $1.99 t-shirts
  11. Good job bro, great deal you got on craigslist. What do catfish teeth feel like anyways?
  12. Always wanted to try these. Looking at the specs and looks they should be just as good as a slightly toned down dewalt.
  13. cool dora sticker and tia!
  14. sad but true, but by then robots will be running the place and well all be placed into the matrix
  15. that would be great if they sold baretools with toughcases and tool liners like the one included with this kit or even if you could buy the tool liners themselves for specific models
  16. I didn't do extensive runtime tests but I did 21 cuts in various materials. I started with a 4.0 battery with 2 out of 3 bars on the fuel gauge and after all the cuts were done it still showed 2 out of 3 bars. Thats pretty good in my opinion
  17. BEST REVIEW EVER!!! I like how he reads the first 3 letters into model name and is like forget it
  18. I know bro thats why I said they own them
  19. the answer for that one is easier because tti doesn't own ridgid or ryobi. Only Milwaukee. A good example would be Samsung. They make products of their own brand and are a huge oem. They make the majority of the parts for iPhones for their biggest competitor apple. If this isn't true today it was just a couple of years ago. It wouldn't make sense for Samsung to make interchangeable user replaceable parts between the two brands
  20. thanks guys, @ Chad I agree- the tough cases as the tool case is an awesome idea as the tough cases rock. @ KWC it is great they give you the option to choose, you can still go with the 5.0 battery kit but its more $$$ and only a basic tool bag but the real value is the kit shown as even though it comes with a 3.0 battery you still save $$$ and get the tough case. 3.0 batteries are still a good size gas tank, most people have 1.5 and 3.0 batteries. I don't think too many people have 4.0 and up only us crazy tool people
  21. nice score Frankie, been wanting to try out the m12 ratchet and also the rotary tool
  22. I wish sears over here sold milwaukee and other brands like bosch, makita, hitachi. They used to sell bosch powertools but I haven't seen any anymore. All they have now is Dewalt and ofcourse craftsman- I like going to sears because I can get some serious discounts plus coupons, plus shop your way points
  23. Thats awesome Madman, my first m12 was the screwdriver but I got that one used on craigslist. I didn't think I'd like it and bought it mostly for the 2 batteries and charger, all for $50 so I could just buy baretools from there on. And this m12 multitool was my second m12 and my first new one. Would've bought just the baretool but HD only had kits at the time, I still use this multitool more than the others because its cordless and doesn't lack power for a 12v
  24. I was able to get my hands on the new Dewalt 20V compact reciprocating saw. Notable features include the drop motor style making it more compact at only 14.5 inches in length and it uses their 4 position keyless blade system where you can place a blade horizontally near the edge which gives it the ability to make flush cuts easy. This isn't new to dewalt since a bunch of their other compact corded recip saws have it along with the previous inline cordless 20v recip saw but its a great feature and first time I've tried it out. I got the kit with the 3 amp battery and awesome Dewalt tough case. Inside comes with a tool liner sort of what Bosch does with their l-boxx's. One thing thats interesting is that the picture for this kit shows one of the new compact chargers but yet this kit includes the full size fast charger DCB101.
