  1. Wow Mike that light is super bright for how small it is. I seen something like that at seats the other day but in camouflage and I didn't think much of it
  2. Oddly enough, the one brand that has most bases covered from what I've seen is the ryobi one+ 18v line
  3. In a perfect world we would only need one battery platform but in reality if you need a broad range of cordless power tools you need a healthy dose of different brands
  4. That grinder looks promising. Good to hear from you guys that it's a 5 inch grinder. Great job Dwain and Mike!
  5. if you go over to japan they got their homegrown brands in all sorts of colors on their power tools including pink
  6. Look at the charger in the picture of the one in home depot for less- that's where they cut the cost and probably a 3.0 battery like mike said. The good news is that it looks like it's the dcb112 which is the faster slow charger
  7. wow no vibrate jokes, very civil forum! Reminds me of when I accidentally left my phone in my pants and they got washed. I took the phone apart to dry it and the funny part is that it would have been fine had I left it alone but I accidentally snapped a ribbon cable. It was a dual sided candy bar phone and one side was dead LOL- you know me even in its poor condition I sold it on craigslist cool your fixing it yourself DR but if it helps a good phone for super cheap has been the nexus line since the nexus 4, your getting a 600+ phone for half- anytime now they should be announcing the next nexus also you could look into tmobile or their other provider metropcs which both offer 4 lines everything unlimited for $100 thats only 25 a person and plus they have payment plans on the latest phones so you can use the money you save on the latest phones without paying extra in the end
  8. looks great, I thought they had one before
  9. This reminds me of high school in art class. I'm good at art and my lazy friends would pay me to do their art homework. So this one drawing project my friend paid me to do work, it was good and I left a hidden image similar to the one in the planter. It wasn't obvious until pointed out. I waited till the picture was hung on the wall with the rest of the art to tell him after it had his name written on it. Boy was he upset. I had a good laugh
  10. I noticed hd replaced the area where they had the stanley fatmax version with the new ridgid boxes and dewalt tough boxes. I haven't seen the dewalt in person but I liked the fatmax version which is the same thing it seems. I almost got it too but didn't because it wasn't modular so lets say I only needed the bottom box- well I had to carry the whole thing because they don't disconnect but I think its a great triple tool box system. Its actually a lot like the ridgid 3 box system if you think of it, a large rolling cart on the bottom, a medium tool box on top and in the center has the organizer with bins and is actually cheaper too. fatmax =$80 dewalt =$90 vs ridgid set about $130.
  11. lol I get it, although it is if you make it out to be but the pattern isn't meant to be. Looks like a great project to do yourself as its very simple in design an looks easy instead of buying it
  12. you know you want to get the ridgid tool boxes. Would be great if they were on sale this holiday so I can get more to keep up with DR99 but by then he'll probably have 20 of them
  13. I checked out the youtube video and it looks like it performs well for cordless
  14. Good to see you were able to get a hold of them. I had to take a look a mine to check the hinges and I wouldn't worry about the pins sliding out as they can't since part of it bends in the middle for the lid stop. Mine don't stick out much or at all so maybe you can sand the edges down with a dremel or cut it off.
  15. Awesome and free stuff is the best!!! Reminds me of all the cool free stuff from the hotel
  16. My sister broke the Hitachi drill and I need to get my mom another for around $100 so I'm still looking around.
  17. I seen this 11am local time and all the good deals were gone. Darn it!
  18. I like the increased battery ah sizes. And I agree with conductor about the charge times. I think the major brands should look into fast rapid chargers. Also interesting to see would be the use of lithium polymer batteries
  19. My car trunk has a bunch of random tools, I think I have a sander, pliers, a mallet, a mud tray but no trowels lol, a few scattered spacers, and other stuff I can't remember and keep forgetting (too lazy) to clean out So in other words nothing to help out in a roadside emergency. But I do have the basic tools for changing a tire and like others I have roadside assistance.
  20. Thanks JeremyI loaded the pro cart and it did well over curbs- probably with 30-40 lbs The telescoping handle itself seems solid although there is some play at the joints but nothing to affect performance I haven't seen tstaks in person so I can't really compare the two To bad HD doesn't sell them (tstaks) instore because I did want to check them out before
  21. That's great news Chris! I'm happy for you bro
  22. It all depends on what specific tools you need want that only a certain line has.
  23. Good find conductor, over here we were just talking about watching back to the future. Great movie- too bad it's not on Netflix, I'll see if amazon instant has it
  24. I was able to collect all four of ridgid's newest to boxes. They have a standalone 25" tool tube and the 22" professional storage system of three modular tool boxes In this video I go over the features of the tool boxes. So far I really like them and the prices are very affordable.
