  1. Didn't they have an m18 miter saw at the symposium this year? They just didn't keep it out long I thought.
  2. Do any of you guys have tools that you bought a long time ago but still work like the day you bought them? Some tools just seem like they won't die. One of those such tools is my dads ingersoll rand 231 that he has had since he graduated high school. My grandpa now uses it at his home garage. The only thing wrong with it is the friction ring is broken. It still kicks like a mule though. It is just over 31 years old too. If you guys have any old tools still kicking post them here.
  3. My uncle who drives to St. Louis for work everyday called my dad this evening and said that water is now over interstate 55. He just barely made it home and he is off tomorrow. He also said that the highway patrol was escorting concrete trucks hauling sand and he said that they were getting with it too. I guess it is getting serious now. I checked the Modot website for road closures and if I had to go back to school today it would take me at least 6-7 hours instead of just under 3. Luckily I don't have to go back until Monday. il keep you guys posted if I hear anything else.
  4. For me it is the first time you use it and it exceeds your expectations.
  5. Great video Chris! I like how you have the bigger tools on mobile carts. Your shop has came a long way man. How big is the first section of the shop?
  6. We are fine here. There are just a lot of smaller creeks that were rolling pretty good here. We had a couple of spots where water was over the road but nothing major. In 93 my grandparents and my uncle had to evacuate. I wasn't born then so I can't compare this to the flooding then.
  7. Here is a picture of the gas station where one of my friends works. It is under a lot of water right now. This is to the west of St. Louis. I'm about 70-80 miles directly south of St. Louis to give you guys some direction as to where I'm from
  8. Nice tools Mike. Make sure to post your toolbox when you get everything moved in.
  9. It sounds like Central pneumatic which are Harbor Freights line of air tools.
  10. I heard on the local news station that the Mississippi River is expected to be at record height on January first. The station is out of Cape Girardeau Missouri and the previous record was 45.5 feet and it is expected to be at 48.5 feet. Flood stage is at 32 feet too. People are already evacuating the low lying areas around there since s lot of it is low lying farmland. I'm about an hour away from the river so we are fine but it is still crazy to think that the river is going to be that much higher than 1993.
  11. Yet another great video guys! Tell Mike that we wish him luck in Tasmania.
  12. You scored this year Logan! Nice tools too.
  13. I had the craftsman socket organizer Jimbo is talking about. I didn't like that it took up one drawer each for standard and metric. I now have some magnetic kobalt socket rails and now all of my sockets only take up about 2/3 of a drawer for all of them other than my impact sockets. How many sockets do you have?
  14. Ok, I wouldn't use the drill enough to really warrant me buying a new one.
  15. I'm interested in the drill. I can send you something to make up the difference
  16. I'd love to have one but I would hate to see the price on it.
