  1. In what world do you need that many tools for?
  2. Do you have any pictures of the bits you have used so far so we can see how they have worn?
  3. I drank the kool aid and I liked it. I have been wanting to upgrade my screwdrivers for a while now. I primarily use Phillips and these seem to be great. You are going to love them Mike.
  4. My Wera screwdrivers made it today and so far I'm very impressed. I like the grip and I think it will allow mr to put more torque into the screw. They grip and fit great too. I haven't used the flat head ones yet. The lazer tip seems to provide more grip the harder you turn the screwdriver too. We are going to hit it hard in the shop this year at school so I guarantee they will see some use.
  5. You don't even have to paint this one comp. It looks right at home in your shop.
  6. My dad and I changed the wheel bearing/hub in my moms car today. It was getting tough and made a ton of noise. What was odd is that it didn't have any play in it. The car is a 2000 Ford Explorer with 203,000 miles on it. I didn't get any pictures of us taking the old one off but I took a picture of the tools needed to change it. We had to use his 3/4 drive torque wrench since the axle but had to be torqued to 200 ft lbs and his 1/2 drive one only went to 150. Mine goes to 250 but it is at my tech school. The reason we had two impact wrenches out is that this was my dads first time seeing the Milwaukee impact wrench and he was skeptical. I would say after using both his IR 2135 and my Milwaukee 2763 side by side I would say that the Milwaukee is within 100 ft lbs of the IR. The it was ran at 140-150 psi too.
  7. I just sent you a Pm about a possible source Eric.
  8. That's what I was thinking but I see where Hugh is coming from though. The epa has some very strict regulations when it comes to automotive fluids.
  9. What's funny is my dad has never owned a vehicle with independent suspension. All of his trucks are solid axle and so is his car. My truck has an independent front end and it rides a thousand times better on long trips.
  10. Drag link socket. I have never used one but I think my dad has a couple.
  11. I bought a 6 piece set of Wera Kraftform screwdrivers today. They should be here Wednesday.
  12. Looks good man! I have never been much on toyotas but they make a hell of a good truck. We have a mid 90s (I think) T100 for a shop truck at my tech school. It has around 350,000 miles on it and it runs great for a bunch of students driving it.
  13. You didn't run the car out if oil when the cap didn't seal did you? Glad to hear everything is better though.
  14. I hardly ever work with machine screws and haven't ran into a screw that tight yet. I do see where it would be nice to have though. I'm hoping that these screwdrivers fit much tighter and reduce can out than my craftsman screwdrivers.
  15. They had boots for the first gen fuel impacts so I imagine they will eventually release them.
  16. I just ordered the set I was looking at. They should be here on Wednesday. I have never needed to use a wrench in a screwdriver for more torque so I didn't get that option. If I need more torque I always have an impact driver.
  17. I'm thinking of getting this set. What do you guys think. I'm looking at the $31 set http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0001NQQCM/ref=s9_simh_gw_d0_g328_i2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=mobile-1&pf_rd_r=0ZK6B8AN52JC5K9ZK7CG&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2068141862&pf_rd_i=mobile&th=0
  18. I can imagine that it gets interesting. Our shop is a 30x40 and it has a 14 or 16 foot ceiling if I remember right. It also has a 10 foot overhang. It wasn't cheap but it was worth it. It was built about 5-6 years ago andirons has already needed a new roof due to a monster hailstorm a while back.
  19. That is bigger than I thought. It looks great Chris! I don't think I could live with the short ceiling. I'm used to 10ft plus ceilings in our shop. Granted out shop isn't a wood shop though.
  20. I have seem something similar to this except it had two drill chucks if I remember right. Nowadays who doesn't have more than one drill or a drill and an impact driver.
  21. This was the first time I saw the kit at the store so I figured it was new stock. I have owned the impact for over a month and it has worked perfectly. It has a stupid amount of power and the runtime is great.
  22. I was at our local Rural King (a farm store) the other day and the kit there had the 5.0 batteries. The store is relatively new and I would assume the stock is too. I would assume that the recently made kits would have them.
