  1. Sorry to hijack the thread, but where abouts in Daytona? I have a vacation house right in Daytona around S Atlantic Ave and Dunlawton.
  2. Im weird, hot coffee actually puts me to sleep. Iced coffee wakes me.
  3. That's the Milwaukee kit that I have, the price must have came up a bit. I havent had any experience with the newer Dewalt tools but I am completely satisfied with my m18 stuff. I feel like you cant really go wrong either way tho.
  4. I got my Milwaukee hammer drill/ impact driver m18 combo for $199 from Home Depot, last time i checked they still are offering the same deal.
  5. Wow thats crazy.. I feel like people living outside reality is becoming more and more common these days. You probably made the right decision walking away from the opportunity if you can even call it that. Some things just arent worth the gray hairs
  6. My fiance picked up this little gem for me for Christmas. Let me tell you I am very impressed how great this thing sounds. Its going to make a perfect addition to my garage and finally get to listen to something while working in the garage or out on the truck. Also my parents got me a new Streamlight Stinger flashlight which ive been needing badly since I moved in the new house. Very Very nice flashlight that puts out a tremendous amount of light for its small size.
  7. Congrats!! Thats a hell of a gift to win to make your Christmas that much cooler!
  8. Very sorry to hear. Prayers to you, your grandmother and the rest of the family.
  9. Just went to the mall to finish off my last minute Christmas shopping. Happened to be a Harbor Freight right in the shopping center, coincidence? If my fiance asks, then the answer is yes it was. I picked up myself a HF multi tool. I know its probably crap compared to the big boy brands but its on sale for 19.99 how can I say no? Selfish Christmas gift to self #3
  10. *UPDATE* Conductor you were absolutely right! Pushed till it clicked into place and it now charges full. I wasn't expecting it to really have to push the pack in that firmly but hey, it works so im a happy man!
  11. Welcome! Do you happen to have any before/after pictures of the bedroom project?? And you wont regret going with the M18, I love mine.
  12. .... to go out looking for gifts to give to others, but end up coming home with a truck load of crap you found on sale for yourself! I found some incredible deals out there while Christmas shopping. Picked up my Milwaukee m18 hammer drill/impact driver set. Just bought a new toaster oven yesterday from sears originally $60 got it for $12!! So, tools or any other deals out there. Lets hear those selfish gifts you treated yourself to this holiday season!!
  13. It blinked red (charging) then went solid green after a while?
  14. I have the kind of friends who would do this, BUT with something like O'douls to give my hopes up.
  15. Thanks guys, Im going to take it back to the store after Christmas. Hopefully it is only the charger. It makes me sad too. Nope, no error codes are being shown. I thought the first time i had the pins misaligned or something so i retried with the same result. The first time i charged the batteries I didn't even bother to check the battery fuel gauge when i took them off the charger. I saw green on the charger and just went straight to work. This is only their second charge since I bought the kit.
  16. So i just noticed when i charge my batteries that the charger goes green indicating the battery is fully charged. When i remove the pack and press the charge indicator button, its only showing 2 bars. This is happening with both of my battery packs. Anybody else experience this issue? These batteries and drills are only about a month old, if even that.
  17. good call on the harbor freight toolbox. I have a us general pro box and compared to similarly priced boxes its a no brainer. Perfect for what I need.
  18. Very nice! Like everyone else here is saying, I too hate hiring people to do something I can at least try to do myself. Saves you a boat load of cash and gives you experience at the same time. You take your time, you may surprise yourself how nice something comes out in the end.
  19. Haha oh believe me I know the addiction has already started. I dont see this ending well for my wallet. So be it!
  20. Whats up guys my names Damian. I stumbled across one of tools in actions videos on facebook one day and seriously cant stop following their reviews. I work as a mechanic for a waste water treatment plant and am around all kinds of tools all day every day. Although at home I personally never owned anything more than a pretty decent set of hand tools for working on my own vehicles and such. Well i just purchased my first home a couple months ago and decided its time to really start building my tool collection to get working on this house! I love the reviews tools in action puts out they really give a good explanation and help me decide what i want to end up buying. Keep it up guys your great!
