  1. Thin sliced genoa salami with provolone on some fresh Italian bread the hard crust not that soft crap and olive oil.
  2. I know that this one sells for 79 bucks
  3. Flatness is the key. Don't mix the two up level and flat. You want your floor flat as possible. Put down some underlayment if you have too. You can get away using your thin set with slight dips. Just don't try to level the floor using your setting material. I have seen guys try to do this then when they get to the other side they are a inch high or better. Good luck and if you have any questions feel free to ask.

    I hate insomia!!

When I worked shift work we would work 2 weeks of days 1 week 3-11 one week of 11-7 then back up to days. When we worked 3-11 & 7-11 it was always 7 days straight. That was over 25 years ago and my sleep habits are still screwed up. I feel your pain brother.

  11. I hear what you are saying. Everybody can beat their chest and yell I'm the best. When it comes down to it the top brands have very little in their differences. They all make good tools and they also make not so goods tools.. My family has been making a living using tools a long as I can remember and we has always bought the best we could afford. I still use tools that were my dads that would be called junk today but they still do the job and do a very good job as well but they are junk. Buy what you like, use what you like and be happy. The tool does not make the job the man using the tool makes the job.
  12. Congrats chrismccabe484 I think that you would be hard pressed to find any other tool channel that gives back more they Dan and Eric. TIA is all about the crew They make sure the Crew is well taken care of.
  13. yes I used self tappers that are used on steel studs. they are about 1/8" so they barely grab the plastic case

  17. The bottom line is it all boils down to the user. I have my Dads Black and decker Saw Cat and that thing has to be close to 45 years old and it is a good saw. I also have my two worm drive saws but, I don't use them much any more. My big framing days are over. The saw I use the most these days is my Milwaukee M18 7 1/4
  18. With me I feel that Festool has almost got the attitude that we can charge what we want because we are Festool. Yes they make some great stuff like Mark said in his write up. Tools like the CT Vacs, and the Dominos. The Rotex, TS55. Two years ago when I was at Festool Connect I was part of a focus group to look at a jobsite table saw. It was a very nice saw but the price point they were talking about was around $1,800. They went around the asking what everyone thought about the saw, and I was the only one to say the price was to high. The R&D rep was from Germany and she looked me dead in the eye and said " We are Festool and we are the Elite tool company and we feel the price is fair. I looked at her and said I don't care if you are Jesus Christ the price is to high. Maybe that's why I have not been asked back as part of the focus group. I'm not part of the festool cult.
