  1. DeWALT UK just announced the cordless brushless planer on Facebook. Model DCP580 available from April in the UK... Video...http://d.pr/v/1jXBP
  2. My mistake. Ofcourse you do [emoji106] We may be outnumbered by team red, but there's lots of positive comments about yellow. At the end of the day it doesn't really matter. They all get the job done! Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  3. Sounds like someone has no experience with team yellow...yet... Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  4. It's like the sun. It brightens your work[emoji111] Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  5. Did you try the distributor and asked for local dealer? If you have a willing dealer he could possibly order it in for you... Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  6. I wish DeWALT would have the pushdrive technology. That's really nice!
  7. GPS tracker. You put in the details of the room and the gps calculates the exact miters and lengths Haha, good one!
  8. Exactly what I was thinking. Their answer for high drain tools like circular saws. 7-1/4" anyone?
  9. Hmmm. Interesting. As I read it, it's not a completely new line, just a bigger battery with increased power that is backwards compatible with the 20v line, but pointed at high drain tools?! That would be pretty nifty actually and with the 36v being discontinued (been said here a while ago) this could be it's replacement...
  10. Now you're talking Matt. Gotta put some OCD and TLC in your ToughWall Ricky!
  11. I'm with Matt. If you go this far, those few brackets don't make the difference. Think it will look nicer also when they are all floating.
  12. The wall racking from the concept video was really nice. Keeping it off the floor so it's easier to clean underneath. Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  13. My DCN660 felt very lonely. He wanted a little brother, but I got him a big brother instead [emoji16] Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  14. I have the DeWALT car charger in my van. I added some screw mounts myself. And an on/off button so I could use the charger to store a battery and not be using any power. Still want to add a 2nd one. But a 6-way charger would be nice on site. Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  15. Wish DeWALT would come out with a 6-bay charger, much like team red has. Or a Toughsystem charger that has like 6 or 8 bays behind a lid so you can use it in the rain, but still have leds on the front/top so you can see the charging status.
  16. Still want the cart. Not really need it, but yeah, want it.
  17. True. That was because I didn't had a clue how they call this kind of ply in the US/UK [emoji16] So I looked it up and shuttering ply came up as a term. Buffalo ply is another term, like Matt said. Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  18. You can always sell some of your Toughboxes [emoji16] Sent from somewhere by someone using something.
  19. Matt is right. I used the exact same stuff for the flooring and shelves in my van and for the worktable. It's from Wisa indeed
  20. I bet I will, but to me they could have taken the US model, added dual bevel and be done and I would be a happy man. But as I've said, it's only my first feeling after seeing the picture from the EU model. If only they changed the miter knob, scales and made the handles yellow it would've looked a whole lot different.
  21. Just upgraded my DCV582 cordless vac with Airlock connectivity. Put the DWV9000 airlock connector on the hose and then used a DVW9130 adapter on which I mounted the original endpiece. Only had to cut about 10mm from one end of the 9130 so it would fit inside the 'hose end' of the standard endpiece. Only took a little turn to the left to fasten it. Haven't had to use any glue. That was a nice surprise DWV9130
  22. The design/appearance really is a step down. Especially the thumb button to lock the miter and the scale plates. In terms of specification it benefits over the US model in some ways. The US model really looks like a little pro saw whereas the EU model 'looks' much more simplistic. I dunno, just my first feeling when seeing these pictures.
  23. I find the sanding accessory a crappy piece of plastic. Maybe I am using it wrong, but when I use it on detailing the velcro burns up in one corner making the sanding pad come off. Maybe I'm pushing too hard, but I burned up 2 of those in a relative short period of time.
