  1. Nice set of tools you got there!
  2. Haha!! That thing is sweet looking.
  3. Nice setup man! Also good to see your a GM fan.
  4. Thanks, I'll make sure to read the review.. tekton seems to get a lot of good press around here. Anyone have experience with Bondhus hex keys??
  5. Speaking of posting photos.. when I'm on my phone (galaxy note 3) and I try to attach a picture, my phone gives me very limited options from where to choose it from.. none of which are actually places where I store pictures like my gallery or my Google drive.. not sure if I'm being clear about this.. any ideas?
  6. I guess I didn't actually mean quick change, wrong choice of words. what I meant was "tool free"
  7. Competition definitely is good for innovation, that's for sure! If you wouldn't mind, please keep me filled in to anything you might hear about the reciprocating saw and any other tools for that matter thanks!!
  8. TTI does in fact own Milwaukee, Ryobi and AEG (among others) they make tools for Ridgid but do not own them. Emerson owns Ridgid Here is a neat article http://toolguyd.com/tool-brands-corporate-affiliations/
  9. Hey, I would like to upgrade the hex keys I carry in my work toolbag. I am seriously considering the Bondhus balldriver goldguard 15pc metric and 13pc imperial. I like the fact that they are made in the USA and seem to be very high quality. I am thinking goldgaurd for the main reason that the guy who works for me is not the most observant and I really don't want him mixing my old husky balldriver hex keys with my new ones if they are all black (very likely that he or possibly a sub would mix them up, confuse them for their own or even loose them because they don't stand out) if they were gold there would be no confusion that they were mine and would be easier to find if they were misplaced. Is there any downside to the goldgaurd finish? Should I be exploring another brand? I was also considering wera as that's what I use for screwdrivers and really like them but they just don't seem to have the selection I really don't use them a ton and not in extreme situations.. I'm a remodeling contractor not a mechanic.. Thanks
  10. I have to agree with both of these. at least a revamp on the current right angle drill.. it seems very underpowered also a Fuel, M12 multitool with led and quick change blade would be sick! (led optional but would be a nice touch)
  11. Bare tool it is.. I was really thinking about the makita TD148D brushless impact and the DJV181Z brushless barrel grip jigsaw... but i think i can wait for those the DHS680 brushless circ saw, i will have a harder time waiting for I will Physically not be able to wait more that 1 month for the Supposed new brushless reciprocating saw... if they dont instantly bring that thing to the US i will no doubt buy it from overseas.
  12. I know Milwaukee has been king of the hill for a while now but Makita has always been very innovative and has a great team of engineers... they may have been quiet for a little while but they were obviously just assembling their new army and are about to storm the hill! Watch out Milwaukee Makita's Back!!!
  13. im not sure what your usage is, professional or personal and how frequent, but my guess is that either the supercut or the Vecturo are wayyyy overkill.. if you are considering a Multitool, do yourself the favor and really consider the a Fein.. they are exceptionally engineered tools and do their job very well.. the older style FMM250Q is still awesome and on on sale over at the Tool Nut with all the accessories for $200 that is awesome price (same price as the newer FMM350Q without all the accessories) http://www.toolnut.com/Fein_FMM250QTOP_Multimaster_Oscillating_Tool_Kit_p/fmm250qtop.htm (the picture on tool nut is wrong and is of the newer model.. the part number is correct though, the accessories should be very similar)
  14. Phew! you had me worried for a minute!! after seeing those pictures i must admit, you wear those little pants well my friend hahahaha and as far as the apron goes.. thats a hard one.. yes on one hand an apron is much more at home in "da kitchen" but then again do "da bitches" really deserve a festool apron?? also we dont want them making their kitchen duties faster-easier-smarter.. then they will start finding free time in which they will wander from the kitchen... they will start to want equal rights, ability to vote, real jobs and...... us to cook for them NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! keem the women away from the festool apron! its perfectly acceptable for a man to wear a SHOP apron as long as it is made of leather or has a tool/gun/car brand on it
  15. from my understanding, the Vecturo is based almost 100% off the Fein Supercut.. there is talk that Fein actually makes the bulk of the tool for Festool then Festool adds their own housing, plug it cord and developed their own bases like the plunge base. Im not saying this is 100% factual but its just what i have heard. Case and point.. it has been proven that the Festool Plunge base will mount directly to the Fein Supercut so if you already have the Supercut and you are really digging the plunge base, order up!! also the blades are interchangeable between both units Sooo while i would like to see a comparison between the 350 and the Vecturo (to know if and how much better it is for the money) a comparison between the 350 and the Supercut should yield the same results and might be more feasible in the near future I posted this in another thread also, but i would love to see a compairson that included the 250, 350 and supercut to know, if you were only considering Fein, which was the best bet
  16. There is a lot of talk going around that the new festool is essentially a tweaked fein supercut, motor and blade stroke being the same.. so minus the cool accesssories, the supercut and the vecturo should perform identical in a test.
  17. I'll have to just take a few deep breaths and be patient! It's good to at least know it's in the works They really seem to have woken up big time, it's exciting... some of their stuff was getting a little stale but with all these new releases of great tools they are obviously looking to take back the crown!!
  18. Madman, sweet deal! That's hard to beat that thing really a great multitool.. I have fein's that I always used to use and ever since I got an assortment of m12 I use this one 95% of the time
  19. Alright kornomaniac, you got any more dirt for me?? Can you twist some arms?? Brushless? 18v x2? Avt tech? badass crazy amounts of power!?!? Hoping all the normal goodies like rafter hook, led and adjustable shoe are a given.. also judging by all their new tools I imagine it will have a battery fuel gauge. Gimme something... anything! I'm dying over here. Lol
  20. Does anyone know of a thorough comparison (video would be great) of the fmm250 vs the fmm350 and also one between the fmm350 and the supercut. I would love to see some head to head action!!
  21. whats this Bosch gig I'm hearing about?? i though you were my Festool homie on TIA.. you know we don't have the numbers here that we do on FOG.. We have to stick together
  22. December 1st ship date! Never thought it would get here this fast. Here is their page with all the new stuff coming 12/1/14 http://www.festoolproducts.com/New-Products-s/112.htm
