  1. Personally I don't like the look of a gas engine sitting in the frame because they don't look so crisp and where I live they are really cracking down of modified gas powered bicycles you cant buy the kits anywhere.
  2. We all have to admit it love it or hate it Milwaukee has a better 12 volt line.
  3. Well it is my only means of transportation and sometimes I bike 25 kilometers a day, so for me it might be a good future investment.
  4. Ha got you all beat. During Christmas 1998 I was 12 months old, the only thing I was good at was filling up my diaper and scooting across the floor leaving a trail of spit behind me (I had weak cheek muscles as a baby) it helped my parents find me cause the house was carpeted everywhere.
  5. I came across a brand new M12 one on the classified adds today for 150$ with case battery and charger.
  6. Yup that's the exact weight but if you add on the electric drive system it doubles.
  7. I picked up my bike this afternoon and went out and tore thou the snow love it. I do need to put studs in it so it handles better on ice.
  8. Yea I have seen the cells they put in them for 11$ a piece that's 55$ for the batteries in a 2Ah pack and 110$ for the ones in a 4Ah pack. Its the Price on the Lithium because its hard to obtain and refine as it reacts with almost everything, the fact that its in high demand due to lithium ion batteries being put in everything does not help.
  9. That is true comp Black Friday does suck up here in Canada. And who would want to sit in the -20 Celsius (-5 Fahrenheit) and the snow that's falling because that's what outside looks like right now where I live.
  10. So my bike has been getting bad for the past 3 months and finally needs replacement, it dose work but It needs more money in parts then what its worth so I went and spent 650$ on a new bicycle witch takes out my plans for black Friday shopping. My reasons are well right now there are 4 inches of snow outside and more is falling, so the bike I bought had to take care of that problem, I haven't picked it up yet from the bike shop but I think it will do its intended purpose the bike is a Surface 604 a 6 speed with 22" rims and 4 inch tires that have an outer diameter of 26" it normally costs 1100$ but I found a sale on them for 650$ so I jumped at the opportunity. They sell another version of the bike with a 700 peak Watts (Almost one horsepower) brushless motor contained in the hub so If I want I can order the parts and make it electric, but they want 500$ for the 10 Ah 36 volt Lithium ion battery so that might be replaced by some power tool battery packs, so might spend 400$ on that in the future. This is what it looks like. Also it gets better today I got a job working part time after school at a tool retailer and after I work there for 3 months i get the employ discount of everything at cost. Here is a list of brands they sell; DewaltMilwaukeeBoschMakitaHitachiFrestool GeneralSaw StopMillerLincolnIngersoll Rand FreudIrwinRolairKing CanadaAnd the list goes on and on, so why spend money on tools now when I can get them at cost in 3 months.
  11. Its a mini truck, you have to respect model toy makers but this guy is a step above he can do it without the kit.
  12. I don't know the weight all I got was the information on it from an article that leaked about it from STAFDA. Sometimes I wish new tool leaks are easier to find than celebrity nude leaks.
  13. No, Stop I'm trying to convince myself I don't need the DCD795 because the DCD985 works fine I cant spend money for that right now.
  14. Its in the final phases of production, and its Brushless. Its also going to be released with an optional auto collated screw attachment. Expected release date Early spring of 2015
  15. So your they guy who is going to die with the most tools and win.
  16. If you get the a few of the Philips Hue and spread them out for one every room you can program your lighting the possibilities are virtually endless I have a friend who has one who is an electrical engineer the lights in his house can be any color just being controlled by his phone they also flicker when he gets a text and he keeps adding to the stuff there capable of they all connect through WiFi but at 45-80 bucks each there pricey and not worth it unless you know how to run coding.
  17. Could have got em from Lowe's for 125$ they match prices online plus shipping.
  18. I found it at a tool retailer today so its starting to be sold in north america price looks to be around 50$.
  19. I would go to a foam retailer if you live in a modestly large city they are not hard to find.
  20. Yea I tried running my circlular saw on a 1.3 Ah battery and it did not last. Take it to another store Lowe's, and HD have a price match guarantee they will beat the price by 10%.
  21. That is the first time I have heard of a band saw taking off someones finger.
  22. Yea today I was talking to the wood shop teacher at my high school turns out 6 years ago a kid cut off all his 4 fingers at an angle losing all his pinky finger to the top of his index finger turns out I know the guys younger brother and you cant even tell that the guy ever got them cut off he was lucky it was a clean cut and they got him to the hospital in 2 hours where one of the best hand surgeons in the country practices he was back to school in a week and had full range of motion on his hand in 2 months and in the end the only thing he has are 4 scars and the school now has a saw-stop table saw.
  23. Yea if Dewalt or Milwaukee made one I would get one for next summer as the old School buses are held together with thousands of rivets on the body panels.
  24. I found this, so I guess they do exist.
