  1. In Canada I would say its the most store based system ever. HD up here are one of the few large stores that supply most brands.
  2. Well Tesla is making a factory that they expect to open in 2017 that will make enough lithium batteries to make 500,000 cars a year that will increase the amount of lithium batteries produced in the world every year by around 4 times.
  3. This kind of stuff makes me angry because power tool companies don't get there head in the game when it comes to new batteries these new 5 amp lithium ion packs have 10 cells inside them, the style of batteries are standard Lithium ion 18650 cells and the packs have 2500mAh cells each wired in 2 pairs in series this makes them turn out 5000mAh or 5 amps but already on the market are 3400mAh batteries witch could be used to make 6.8 amp batteries power tool batteries. And these batteries are getting more expensive as Telsla motors is driving up the price of 18650 batteries because they use 7000 of them in each Model S and they have a goal of making 40,000 cars over this year using up 30-40% of the 18650 Lithium ion cells produced this year.
  4. I think it might be due to the fact that no one will buy a slow rivet gun they are required to be quick that is why air powered ones have a 2-3.5 inch piston being pushed with 80-100 pounds per square inch of pressure, that is a lot of force applied in very Little.
  5. We need to send this to Dewalt R&D, maybe something that can be used on the brackets or hung off the back of the cart.
  6. Beautiful table wish you luck on moving day.
  7. Mythbusters use 18V cordless dewalt reciprocating saw at 2:33 go team yellow.
  8. I have been thinking of making a carrying case out of plywood to hold my batteries and chargers and then painting it black and yellow. But I like the idea.
  9. I found a article from someone who went to STAFDA who saw the screw gun and talked with one of the dewalt project managers and he said there will be an attachment for collated screws that is going to be released the same time as they have the screw gun come out in spring of 2015.
  10. Bought a Milwaukee Drill and impact kit for 147$ sold it for 200$
  11. Anyone know how well the Milwaukee M12 version works.
  12. Its also the cheapest 3D printer on the market to date. I cant wait until they finish beta testing and release it.
  13. Yea I would only consider snap on if it were coming to a scanner
  14. I pre-ordered a peachy printer for 100$ and really it looks like it can pull off some serious builds. http://www.peachyprinter.com/#!methods/cjg9
  15. If my memory serves me correctly they do offer full lifetime warranty on there hand tools but if they discontinued it then you get no warranty just a trade in value of 3 and a half penny's.
  16. The only thing I got from Bosch is a washer and dryer they suit there purpose but the lint trap needs to much maintenance for my taste, in the future I might look at switching to Dewalt or Milwaukee.
  17. I don't know I kind of hate what they did with the quarter panels and front bumper, it could use more chrome to make it pop, maybe on the mirrors, bumpers, ladder rack and around the grill.
  18. Sick work, wish I had the time to work on protects.
  19. Well if its a wishlist I really want a 20V brushless Grease gun that puts out grease faster than the Milwaukee, oh and a 20V brushless high torque impact with at least 800 foot pounds preferably available in 3/4 inch anvil.
  20. That came with the toolbox when I got it but, when it comes to cars I like american muscle.
  21. Yea looks like the only other way you would find out is if they didn't stop charging and explode the batteries, resulting in 2 reports of lacerations and burns.
  22. yea they got a side by side comparison http://www.dewalt.com/tool-compare/ProductCompare.aspx?prod1=30051&prod2=20817&
  23. If they did what 909 thought of and made there packs thicker and have 15 cells in them they could make some that crank out 10 amps that's if they went with premium high amp lithium ion cells.
  24. Yea my ant was like "wow its so clean I was expecting a massive mess", the one downside of the cordless dust extractor is having to empty it every few large holes.
  25. Well I was going off what my grade 12 high school physics teacher told me when I asked what a brushless motor was when we were studying electromagnetic forces last month. But I decided to look further into it and turns out It isn't exactly what he said. Looked at Wikipedia turns out you have the magnets on the rotor and the electromagnets on the housing.
