  1. I think for them to offer you a product with a lower MSRP for the same sale price is kind of crappy. The MSRP on that one for me is only $69. The other one is >50% off here. so I'd push for 50% off and then some for the inconvenience. [emoji16] Man.... If I got this an hour ago, I'd walk across the street and check it out for you. I'm at an Independence Day Block party. My lowes shows 6 in stock.
  2. Yeah.... I've been looking for a while. My preferred would be a RoboReel but I just can not justify it. 250 bones.
  3. I didn't think the $20 off $100 was valid right now? The only ones I'm finding are 10% off and $10 off $50.
  4. That's really neat. The design could easily be modified to fit anyone's work setup. A few things I would personally change for my own setup: Add a non regulated port for higher CFM tasks. Battery with inverter and charger with a switch when a power source isn't convenient. Some sort of integrated LED lights on the bench. Built in surge/GFCI protection. 20 amp outlets. Of course I don't do theater/stage work, so I'm sure there would be a few more mods is come up with.
  5. You'd think but there's a giant warning sticker next to the ejection port warning you not to use it without dust collection. This got me thinking and I ran to lowes quick to see what kind of fittings I could find that fit and boy, is it TOUGH. I managed to find ONE fitting in the entire plumbing section (specifically the irrigation/landscape section) that fit the port. I then found a kit from Shop Vac that has an adapter in it that fits. But it's backwards from its intended purpose as the hose doesn't fit on the opposite end.
  6. There is an app and a desktop site. My understanding is the desktop site doesn't give fulfill functionality. Dan and Eric discuss the number of participants a lot and we usually have 10-20 mobile followers that interact but then they talk about how their reports show 100+ on previous broadcasts.
  7. Thanks. I thought I'd give it a try. A little time consuming but I'm confident it's exponentially stronger over using deck screws driven at an angle in the top and bottom of the rail.
  8. The planer also states to not connect it to a "shop vacuum" as they don't have the power or capacity for the planer.
  9. I have two of them. Unfortunately, DeWalt doesn't have an adapter to connect the extractor to the planer. Or at least I can't find it.
  10. Sounds like the congratulations is going to you bud!!!
  11. Oops! It probably got thrown in my concrete box. I do like those Bosch Bulldog bits though. Just too expensive!
  12. I have two of them and don't recall having any problems. They've been good to me.
  13. So back to the Alligator Saw video I posted. I see that thing replacing a few tools in my garage. That would probably be my go to tool for a few things. It can cut masonry so my masonry grinders will be replaced. It can cut timbers so no need for a beam saw. It'll replace my small chain saw. It's pretty incredible.
  14. The nice thing about the DW735 is that it has a chip ejection fan. I've ran mine without any sort of collection and it shoots chips 20-30'. I see it being an issue in dry climates as the static electricity poses a problem.
  15. Just unboxed it so far and I am pretty impressed. Very solid construction and it appears to be a quality hose. My impression of the term "Hybrid" suggests that it is a cross between an automotive hose and the lighter no-mar poly hoses. I probably won't be able to get it hooked up until later. One note is to make sure you get any fittings you will need to connect the hose to your air system. There are not ANY in the box. Thankfully I have a few extras from my last air line work.
  16. This is a pretty cool setup for DeWalt's DE735 Planer.
  17. Wow. I'm sure it took a lot of guts to share your story Chris! I commend you for that.
  18. If the reel is decent, it's worth changing the house out. I just picked it up. I used a $10.00 off $50.00 coupon. So it was only $40. I'll report back.
  19. UK/Europe sells the full line of masonry anchors, epoxy, masonry nail gun, etc. Band Saw. I'll think of more.
  20. You can't compare a rolling stand and hole saws to the Alligator Saw!!! Lol.
  21. CT.... I'm drawing a blank of who may be in that area. I wonder if you can look at the main site and do a search based on location. Were they CT plates? Lots of vacations this weekend.
  22. We originally went without a door but because of the Digital Thermostatic Valve and the 4 body sprays, the spray was too much.
  23. It really depends on the setup. Always as little as possible. We had to move the drain here so we took up quite a bit of concrete.
  24. Most of the lumber is cull lumber so I'm probably less that $4.00 per foot. I'll see if I can calculate it tomorrow.
