They're dog ear pickets. They'll be covered up with 1x2 cedar with a 2x6 cedar cap.

I'll end up spraying a light cedar tone sealer.

Decided to tackle replacing some of my fence today. Frame is all assembled using Kreg HD pocket hole screws. Double lapped cedar pickets. I still need to finish the cedar 2x6 cap and build a gate.

You are correct. Any barbed fitting for PEX will work. It also requires a secondary sleeve made of PEX material to go in place of the crimp.

It replaces the crimp tool. It's designed for TypeA PEX and fittings or often referred to as PRO PEX. You can not use this on your commonly available PEX from lowes or HD.

I'm sure they do. I know I've seen winter gloves that are touch screen friendly. My only issue is the size of the keyboard compared to the glove fingers. I know some people with fat fingers struggle hitting keys on a touch screen enough as it is.

I had one.... Now you got me thinking.... I wonder where it is. Anyway, they work well. The staples are a little pricey. Overall it works well. I'm going to have to search now.

You should throw a micro bevel on there to save some time on future sharpenings.

I believe the model I got was a gen 4 or 5 DW431. Nothing bad that I saw.
