  1. Absolutely does one need 1090 in lbs! Heck, I need 8400 in lbs! That's why I'm considering the new DeWalt XR 1/2" impact.
  2. I started my business with Ryobi. First set was a DIY NiCad 4-5 piece set in the BIG gray case. Drill, recip, vac, light, circ saw, charger and two batteries. I ran that thing til every tool had no life left.
  3. Don't you have the DeWalt track saw as well? I've been temped to pick up some Festool, but it's just too darn rich for my blood. I'm really liking the Domino though for mortise and tenons.
  4. It's just different. Takes some getting used to. Honestly, when I first joined, I logged in and went to "Power Tools by Manufacturer" and didn't see DeWalt and thought "WHAT THE HELL?!" Then I realized DeWalt had its own section on the main forum page. It made me think it was somehow sponsored by DeWalt. Figured out things as I read later on.
  5. I have a few DeWalt 12v tools. All diagnostic though. Thermal camera, radar scanner, IR Thermometer, inspection camera and a light.
  6. Those DeWalt rock carbide bits are incredible! Those few bits I have will last through all those anchors and then some for sure!
  7. Thanks guys! No Pete, we hadn't done any other rooms in that house.
  8. Now that's a fantastic idea! If you want Ty dyed walls. Lol.
  9. I just found a half dozen of my aux handles in a bucket... All brand new, never used.
  10. Not bad at all. Just HEAVY. Those are 1/2" thick panels.
  11. Wow. Pretty neat. I'm not sure I'm sold 100% for stain grade projects, but it's a great idea in theory. Not sure how it would work with harder woods like oak or maple. He was using yellow pine which is soft and easier to manipulate. I may have to toy with a few scraps. Could be used to play some tricks on someone. Lol.
  12. Here some pics of a master bath we just finished. Couldn't get very good pics because there are mirrors everywhere.
  13. I ended up getting it for $40. Not a bad find. It had fair reviews from what I found. Just something to add to my black and yellow collection.
  14. I know. I think he figured it out. He ordered some new bits. I think he was using high speed steel and MDF tears up steel bits. All the glue and binders is very tough material.
  15. That's incredible. I've been active for over a year and only have 400+

  17. Yeah. Except when you've earned more free batteries than you could ever use. I'm all for bare tools now. Batteries no longer excite me.
  18. Seems like it. I always find it interesting that when I go to HD and see a Milwaukee truck in the parking lot, I've seen the rep in a Milwaukee shirt, resetting Ryobi or Ridged Displays. I know it's all TTi, but the DeWalt reps aren't messing with Stanley displays. Just seems off.
  19. Yeah. It is. Hopefully this three day weekend will allow me to get some more done. If the rain stays away.
  20. I think Dan is getting a little frustrated with the Carv-X CNC Router. Having some issues with it the past 24 hours.
  21. Very nice DR. I'll have to remember that.
  22. This was an employee of DeWalt I talked with.
  23. So I found one at a pawn shop today for $80 out the door. Contemplating if I should get it.
