  1. it can be confusing for sure. but of you read everything and then factor in the pricing listed, it all makes sense.
  2. All the new product is from Radians. Here is a better link. http://www.radians.com/radsite/index.php/retail/dewalt
  3. Dewalt just posted some new work gear to their website. Glasses, boots, gloves and ear protection. http://dewalt.com/ToolWhatsNew/Tools.aspx
  4. Dang. They're only $89.97 USD. I've looked at them before. I don't do enough holes to need it. And I have the Full Kobalt set that works just fine with Lifetime Guarantee. DeWalt set has great reviews overall.
  5. Sounds like your next tools should be a hub puller and some penetrating oil.
  6. ToolNut did that to me. Their site said "In Stock- Ships from manufacturer in 24-48 hours." Then 4-5+ weeks later it shipped from ToolNut, not Dewalt. So I had to wait until DeWalt shipped to ToolNut then for them to ship to me.
  7. I've seen several posts on DeWalt's Facebook page regarding this. The nice thing about DeWalt's design is a loose battery doesn't effect the operation of the tool. Once those prongs are inserted, they seem to stay in contact during operation.
  8. Some are longer depending on your jurisdiction. City of Houston requires 10' long >8' in the ground. It's a matter of efficiency mostly. You could use the old hose method and word the rod into the ground with a hammer little by little, but a power tools makes the job faster with less effort. You can build a house with hammer, nails and a hand saw, but do you really want to?
  9. It's in great shape. Comes with soft bag. Can I get $50 plus shipping for it? HOUSTON, TX.
  10. That may be a little undersized for driving rebar into rocky soil. I don't think it has the weight behind it to do it efficiently.

  13. Waste of money. That guy tried to lobby to get laws passed mandating his technology on all saws and monopolize the market. I've been using a table saw since I was in elementary school and no issues. I believe Bosch came out with similar technology that isn't as expensive to repair if you ever tripped it.
  14. That's awesome! My order took a week or so.
  15. You would have to sell this as part of a dado set. As you can see in the video, if the overall diameter is off it will d finitely show in the work piece.
  16. You need a water softener. I usually shy way from abrasives for cleaning certain materials as you'll either put microscopic gauges in the material or wear off the glaze. I had a customer that actually etched his shower glass with that purple foaming cleaner. Completely ruined.
  17. If you're going to run ANY air tools like impact or air ratchet, you'll want 20 gallons minimum or you'll face a lot of down time waiting for the tank to fill and the compressor may run non stop during use. I have an Ingersol Rand 80 gallon and it's perfect for just about anything and everything.
  18. I have one with the collated attachment. I don't like it with the bigger 4.0 and 5.0 batteries. I prefer the smaller 1.5 and 2.0 batteries for weight and balance. I haven't ran hundreds of screw. Just a few 1 hour jobs.
  19. There are blades for pretty much anything you can think of. They may not be DeWalt blades, but with the dual attachment head, you can use any multi tool accessory ANYONE makes. I've used Bosch, Dremel, Rockwell and whatever else. Dremel makes razor knives for cutting carpet and other thin sheet goods. They also have a scroll saw style kit that has fine cable cutters for precision cutouts. If you get one, you'll be looking for reasons to use it.
  20. Max PSI is 120. My garage compressor is usually about 140-150. So a regulated port would be needed. The precision point is nice. No real depress. Just hold the nose fairly tight to the stock and it deactivates the safety.
