  1. Welcome to the forum and welcome to team Yellow!
  2. Check out Ron's videos on YouTube. You can probably plan and save yourself a lot of revamping of your rig.
  3. Ron Paulk is a high end carpenter up in the north west, he ran a box truck for a while and decided to go with a truck and trailer for various reasons. He has transportation to and from the job for material runs and can leave the trailer at the job. I tried the truck thing and ended up getting a trailer. And then a bigger trailer. It really depends on your intentions. What trade do you anticipate doing?
  4. The blue ones are specifically for one of the anchors. I believe they may be for the threaded anchors like the Wedge Bolt. The Drop In (DI+) have a special bit and driver as well to drive in and set the anchor.
  5. DeWalt actually owns Powers. So these are just rebranded Powers. They tried to sell these in Home Depot down here in Houston and they must have not done very well as they were only on the shelves for a short time. An associate told me DeWalt did a huge buy back on all the anchors and specialty masonry bits. These were the ones that didn't get turned in for the buy back so I bought them on deep clearance. Last I looked, Home Depot still sells them online along with a few at Amazon.
  6. I had three of the Stanley ones. Kept them less than 90 days before returning and moving on to the Tough System. The cantilever ones are no where near water resistant and when I was working out of a truck, it made life difficult when we got those sporadic random rain storms in the middle of the afternoon.
  7. Thanks man. It's also hard to keep up with the live broadcasts and type. Sometimes the topics change so fast, your comment gets lost.
  8. Figured I'd start a thread to discuss anything that the guys broadcast on Periscope that people would like to discuss further. Especially if you're watching a feed after it's been broadcasted live.
  9. Yes. They're just parts bins I hot glued together and screwed to the vertical support. Keeps them handy and helps me keep count.
  10. One side is getting there. My bench is now loaded up with stuff to organize. I'm currently working on getting my Tough System and T-Staks organized and planned out.
  11. I have the DeWalt 7" And the 12" ones. Rafter tails, birds mouths, ridge cuts, square cuts for framing, fencing. A mock guide for cross cuts.
  12. A vacuum hooked up to the port works pretty darn good. I've cut in homes with no problem. Usually small stock like base and crown. All real wood though. I don't dare cut MDF trim in a customers home. EVER.
  13. The Bosch rep was telling me about it at the last event I went to. Seemed legit. He said himself that it's great for a flooring contractor that has to float floor frequently, but for the one off or two off's, it's not practical for the money. The way he explained it, it seems to be pretty simple and clear as day to use.
  14. I have the DW735 and love it. My dad also has the 735. Best value in my opinion.
  15. The DeWalt Gyroscopic may be an option. It rotates to a 90 degree gun or to a straight 180 degree gun. 8v. It's fairly powerful. Will drive a drywall screw into a 2x4. It has nice LED lights on the front.
  16. My brother, dad and myself all have a 780. I've also own a Hitachi and have owned a few Kobalt ones. The DeWalt is the best I've ever used.
  17. I've been working on it all week. That was the only pic I had which was from a few months ago. I had no plans to do before and after, I happened to stumble upon it in the background of the picture of my truck. I cropped and zoomed to try and get the full effect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I don't have an after just yet, but you can clearly see how my garage was a storage for my business. An absolute disaster.
  19. DeWalt 20v slide packs have to he contacts tucked away nicely into grooves. Virtually no change of shorting out. It's not like the old two/three contact NiCad batteries.
  20. Welcome to the forum Mike! Thanks for sharing! I hadn't ever seen that. It's the same link as shared above.
  21. I saw 20v lawn equip at Lowes yesterday.
  22. The best I've seen in the states is small giveaways. At one show, they gave away promo items if you bought something in store.
  23. Impressive for only a few weeks. I wish I had started with DeWalt 5 years ago. May have avoided wasting a lot of money.
  24. The DCB107 also has the keyhole slots but that output is only 1.25 Amps.
