  1. Upload a picture of what you have. Is it tubular plastic??
  2. Yup, theres a lot more white inside too
  3. Hey guys you should check out this product called Lint Alert. I forgot to mention it before but it is cheap insurance to prevent fires.
  4. Yea, it should be done once a year, but it depends on your usage if you dry clothes everyday you might won't to do it every 6 months.
  5. Old school plumbers know what works and what doesn't work, they probably looked at these sharkbites and just shaked there head. Pvc is the way to go
  6. Yup, I'm the same way only use them when the shut off at the street won't hold. I see a few guys use them to transition from copper to cpvc which is done very often here. The Sharkbite is the same price vs a copper female adapter and a stainless cpvc male adapter plus no sweating, dope, Teflon and screwing around..lol But like I said I only use them when the water won't shut off all the way.
  7. Yea, labor is cheap here and PVC is even cheaper. Septic tanks smell like money!!
  8. I'm backlogged on uploading posts, I was planning on catching up this weekend. Yea, I don't use many apps
  9. Hey guys!! For some reason when I try to upload a picture I keep getting a error. I was able to post pictures yesterday but then at night time I couldn't. I haven't loaded one picture so how could I be out of space. Is anyone else having a problem on the Forum?? Some how I was able to post this screen shot here but I can't post pictures anywhere else. If anyone know whats going on let me know. Thanks!!
  10. That sucks Mikey I hate unexpected repairs especially expensive ones, at least its fixed now. I have only seen a liner job on YouTube, the first place I saw it was on a channel called Swift Plumbers maybe 5 years ago. I don't think anyone does it here, we just dig it up and replace. It gets super expensive when the pipe inside the house fails, you basically have to tear half the house down. The homes are on slabs here so you have to chip out most of the floor and slab to change pipe. I don't think this system works on wye's, tee's, or combo's just on straight pipe. I could be wrong
  11. Haha, it said error or something like that and than bam!! I didn't realize till you said something, You would think being lazy you would also be a penny pincher As long as it doesn't leak and $h!t goes down hill your good to go right..lol
  12. I remember returning a sprinkler and some other stuff, when I got home and read the receipt I only got a penny back for the sprinkler :/ This happened a few years ago that HD burned down karma's a bitch..lol
  13. The only thing I got for a penny from HD was a pool pump basket maybe 15 years ago
  14. We don't have that many gas dryers here which is good because its crazy to have an open flame next to dryer lint. There's just a sheet metal tube thats open in the front and the flame in the middle. If you open up a gas dryer you would see lint on top the tube singed as well as every were else in the dryer. Its more difficult for an electric dryer to catch fire, there would need to be a spark from the motor or else where to start a fire. A gas dryer should not be used imo, they do preform better than electric and cost less to run but what good is it if it burns the house down.
  15. I don't have any experience with the Yard Boss, but I have tons of experience with there other products you can't go wrong with there equipment. I have a bunch of Stihl equipment and its the only brand I use.
  16. Great job man!! Its always a bonus when the customers are good people. Water causes so much damage I see water damage every day, even a tiny leak will cause thousands in damage if it is not fixed right away.
  17. You the man Glassey!! Looks really nice and compact
  18. A new innovation from Sharkbite, PVC fittings (schedule 40 PVC) . If you can't glue PVC pipe together than you shouldn't be doing plumbing work. I don't see a need for this, they make pvc glue that you can use underwater. Why would you need this? Any thoughts on this?? Second picture is a 1 inch PVC to 1 inch copper coupling

  20. That's scary. Was it a gas dryer?? You can never be to safe. What color was the wall..lol
  21. Seriously I thought it was a primer coat when they were building it. With no lube
  22. I would have to see the job, every panel is a different price and each one has its difficulties. You can buy what is called a tandem breaker to make one breaker become two breakers.
  23. Thanks Eric I try This panel has emt piped it on all four sides and the feeders come in from the back so its a major pain. Around 1300, I need a work with permit to do the work and get the meter unlocked which would be an additional cost. Permit runs 130 plus my handling fees than wait for both inspections.
  24. I sure will, I hope they don't have the motion sensor paper towel dispenser I hate those things. I need more than 6 inch's of paper to dry my hands!!
