  1. wow i've never seen anything like this besides the stuff you see in horror movies. my only guess as others have already suggested is for carving out soft materials like foam or very soft woods. or it could just be the Ryobi egg beater bit, not sure though.
  2. Yeah I think it was over hyped. It's still pretty cool though and at least Milwaukee is trying to innovate and push the boundaries. I like this better than the DeWalt bluetooth batteries. Cant wait to see how its implemented on a regular jobsite, only time will tell is my guess
  3. Thanks for sharing Conductor! It looks like many, if not all, the tools were hand drawn. That's amazing. I can't imagine myself drawing detailed depictions tools (or anything really) all day. Nowadays we have super high res photography that makes hand tools look amazing. Not sure if your familiar with Lie-Neilson toolworks but they have a catalog of hand tools that could be used as postcards, really nice stuff. It's cool to see how things were done back in the day. To me, it feels like everyone was hand made and hard to do. Now, everything is digital. Funny story, I showed the owner of the sign shop I work for a video on YouTube. It was some guy making a hand made sign for John Mayer. I was blown away by how intricate and detailed the sign turned out. The owner just looked at me and said "That's just how we did thing's back in the day, what's so special about that?". I had to laugh because it's so true.
  4. Welcome to forum! Glad to have another clan..i mean crew member lol
  5. What kind of truck did you use to tow him out?
  6. I've only made a few crappy videos on YouTube, I know that it takes some time and effort to put these together so thanks for uploading and sharing this video with the crew. Looks like a pretty clean cut with a framing blade
  7. Sound's like a blast. Have a great time and looking forward to the pics!
  8. That's awesome Toronto! Those work boots he has are classic, had no idea they made them that small. Looks to me like your his super hero, good job on that man.
  9. Yup, I agree with you all. It's too much for me, but that might change in the future. Who knows what doors this could open up. It's so different from what we are all used too. I think we will just have a wait and see to find out how well this implements with jobsites around the globe. If any moderators want to get rid of this post that's fine with me, I don't want to clutter the forum with too many posts about one key, it seems like their are already longer posts about the subject

  12. In my neck of the woods, everyone uses DeWalt and Makita. I've also seen a bunch of guys buying 36V DeWalt tools as well. Not too many guys use Milwaukee around here and it's just another reason why I love Milwaukee. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  13. I'm very curious about what this could be. Hopefully it lives up to the hype Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  14. Not sure if you have a Woodcraft near you but if you do, they sell a couple of spray on chemicals that will remove rust. The stuff I bought came in a 3 piece kit. 1 to remove rust, 1 to remove resin and pitch from blades and the last one is called T9 Boesheild to protect it from getting rusty. I remember it being a little pricey at $35 for the kit. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk

    18volt mitre saw

Do these saws come with a 7-1/4" Miter Saw blade with a negative rake angle? And is it okay to use a regular Circular Saw blade? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  20. Wow comp, that's straight out of a movie lol! Thank goodness they didn't start shooting at youSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  21. Man what a nice car. American Muscle cars from the 60's are classic. I've overheard similar stories where a cop pulls someone over just to chat about their car. Thanks for sharing this manSent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk

Your gonna love it. I also have the big brother, 7-1/4" Fuel Circular Saw 2731. Both of these saw's have really impressed me. I mostly use corded tools, since I'm either working in a shop or we usually bring a generator with us. After using these Milwaukee tools though, I think I can leave the generator behind.
  23. I know that cops often get a bad rep but they are not all bad. Case in point is this ticket I received a while back. This is part of a post I did on Reddit a long time ago. Backstory: I lived in a highly congested area. Parking was very hard to find, but there was a small spot that could fit a car near my old apartment. Sure, it was illegal to park there, but people often did anyway's. Please share any good cop stories with the crew here. Maybe you were drunk and he let you go or something
  24. Looking great man! I always enjoy seeing the mess turn into something nice.
