  1. Come on now...I thought I told you not to post pictures of my yard! lol.
  2. That's pretty cool. Nice pictures by the way. Can't wait to see what the rest of the crew has done. I on the other hand didn't do much of anything. At least nothing worth taking pictures of lol

    12v lineup

It's a little beast of a saw! And I'm very impressed with it. Power: It has a good amount of power, I was able to bog it down however when cutting some solid oak and beech wood. I was just trying to test the limits of the saw, but with normal use in 2 by materials and plywood, it ran through it like butter. Portability: This saw is light weight and a perfect saw to use for "pick up and go" type situations. Battery life: It's been pretty good, lasts me about a week on a 4.0 battery. I use it lightly around the shop to cut down plywood to manageable sizes. I also use it to cut up materials that come off the CNC machine. It get's used everyday, here and there. Dust: There is no blower or dust ejection, so dust gets everywhere. This might be a concern for some people, I guess, but its not for me. Build: This does not feel like a toy at all. Once you have it in your hands, you can tell that it's quality. I've used a Ryobi circ saw and that felt like a toy. The Milwaukee feels really solid. I especially like the depth adjustment and the bevel adjustments on this saw. I've also dropped it a few times and banged it against some stairs on accident and it's held up very well. Conclusion: I really like this saw. I've been letting the guys in the fabrication department use it and they love it. It's great to chop things up for the trash, cut down larger plywood, I've even built some quick saw horses with 15 degree compound cuts through 2 by materials with it. Of course, I wouldn't use this to frame a house, but you can get a lot of work done with this small saw.

    12v lineup

I really like Milwaukee's 12V lineup. The only tools I have so far are the 12V Fuel Impact Driver, the Sawzall (brushed version) and the Fuel 5-3/8" Circular Saw. They all work very well. I wish I had more insight into the tools that your looking to get.
  5. You all have some great ideas! I especially like the UV light pen. I usually just right my name on all my tools with a Silver Metallic Sharpie, Inkzall, White Paint Pen or even Spray Paint.
  6. This sounds good, thanks for the tip wigwag
  7. Ive come across a few bad ones...I usually end up turning them into ice picks or awls

  11. That's what I figured as well. They mention that "One Key" will unlock the entire jobsite. Question is, what is and what is not locked on the jobsite? Using Sherlock Holmes type reasoning, I've come to the realization that Porta Potties, are often left...you guessed it, unlocked. This of course is to provide ease of access to do the deed. Using some elementary logic, I have therefore determined that "One Key" will unlock the rest of the jobsite as well to do the deed. In conclusion, Milwaukee will soon allow us to pee in buckets and drop brown submarines, in not only Porta potties, but the entire jobsite as well. If course, I could be wrong but I'm 99% sure that that is what it is Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  12. haha...which came first, the chicken or the egg?
  13. looks brand new to me, great job conductor
  14. hahaha...this is so true. I suggest that everyone's first Milwaukee purchase should be these scissors to open up all the plastic clam shells they package everything in.
  15. These Milwaukee Scissors do a really great job and cutting off all that plastic lingerie from your sexy tools Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  16. i could supply you all with an endless amount of coconuts lol
  17. Like the others have already mentioned, I think it really is need dependent. But if I were to give a suggestion, my vote would be for: Festool. Kidding. Ryobi. Seriously, I think Ryobi makes some great tools at a crazy price. Not to mention that they have a huge line up of tools on the their battery platform. I know others on here might be rolling their eyes right about now, but they are often the pro's or tradesmen that use their tools all day at work. If your not a pro/tradie then Ryobi is a great platform to get into.
  18. Nice find! It seems to me like there has been a ton of Milwaukee deals and clearance sales. You think this could be due to the new products being released later this year?
  19. Wow comp! Those are some beautiful pictures, really great job man Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
  20. That's a nice looking setup you got there. It's amazing how much stuff you can accumulate over a period of time. What types of projects are you interested in? From the looks of it, looks like some electrical engineering. I had a similar setup a while back. I used to modify gaming controllers and sell them online. I've always enjoyed taking things apart and seeing how they worked, looks to me like you enjoy doing the same thing. You mentioned that you can't afford to do some of the projects that you have in mind. I'm just curious as to what types of projects you are interested in doing. As far as not being able to acquire tools, I think craigslist is a great place to start if you haven't already. You could also try some garage sales in your area, they often have some tools that you can haggle down the price on. If your fortunate enough to know some people that are willing to give you some old tools, hand me down tools are the kinds of tools I've always had, lol. Or who knows, you could end up winning a giveaway on the forum! If you could list the top 3 tools that you would like to get next, what would they be?
  21. Man I wish I could be there. I'm not sure about DeWalt, but I know for sure Festool will be there. Hopefully someone from the crew will go and send us some nice pictures
  22. I'm such a wimp, looking at those pics kinda welled up my eyes. Awesome work man, your Father must be proud
  23. Congrats! What am awesome thing to win for such an awesome guy!
  24. Hey Mike! I do a lot of soldering on circuit boards. This is the soldering Iron I got. It works very well, it has variable temp control and the iron heats up quick. Hakko FX-888D I highly recommend it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk
