That's funny right there, thank you for sharing, I needed a good laugh.. I seriously have not laughed that hard in a long long time!
  2. Wish my better camera's batteries were charged. This was shot on my iPhone 5s
  3. Drive Ms. Daisy lol... Ratchet Drive
  4. I love how you always go the "extra-mile", that insert is definitely an example of that.
  5. My brothers best friend, was electrocuted when he cut the extension cord on a hedge trimmer. This was before older houses had circuit breakers and GFI's. The story goes, it was the day before High School graduation, and was doing chores to make a few bucks to party. It was a hot day, and he was working outside shirtless, and somehow he cut the cord, and the cut cord hit him in the chest.
  6. I am blown away by the out pouring of support here at TIA! The Tools in Action crew is second to none. The TIA crew is more to me, than just a forum chat. Y'all have the greatest heart, and are truly kind. I been “online” since the 80's, and been part of many, many bulletin boards and forums. The TIA crew is truly unique, The TIA crew has restored my faith in humanity, in spite of all the negative stories we hear on the news everyday. That being said, it's because my Mother and Father raised us to be kind, and respectful. I have 5 brothers and a sister, and many nephews and nieces, all follow these lessons that were taught to us. In closing, I really appreciate all the donations, and the folks that put up their personal tools for auction to help me out in these tough times. And thanks for the many laughs in this thread, I have read through it many times, has it puts a big ol' smile on my face. I promise, that when things get better here, I will pay it forward. -Steven
  7. If I had the funds, I would buy this one - The drum lift system is pretty cool.http://www.lagunatools.com/accessories/dustcollectors/cflux-1-5hp-110v-Cyclone#
  8. Yes it is, especially with the cheap upgrades that will make this a top notch dust collector. There are a couple videos on YouTube, showing how to upgrade this unit.
  9. I am so blessed, that the folks here at TIA came together to help me out in these hard times. A big thanks to ChrisK for putting this auction together, donating an awesome tool, and BigMikez for the winning bid. Tyson, and the anonymous donor sending funds to my go fund me campaign. I am a big believer in karma, and paying it forward when I have the means to do so. And finally a thank you to Dan and Eric, for putting this awesome community together. We all know you guys have a great heart, and the #tiacrew appropriate your honest tool reviews. -Steven
  10. Jimbo bringing the killer tool deals!!!
  11. Yes, I am an oddball, but I actually like the old station wagons. If I had car collector money, I would have worlds biggest collection of station wagons. Not mine, but had one just like it. Had Cregar Rims, headers, and Cherry Bomb exhaust.
  12. This one looks similar too - http://www.homedepot.com/p/Dasco-Pro-Pry-Bar-Set-3-Piece-91/202585548
  13. That would be a cool ride, if one put seats in the back, and used it has a "city-tour" vehicle.
  14. What lathe did you buy? And are you using carbide turning tools, or regular ones, that need constant sharpening?
  15. One more thing, although it has been a rough year, I have something to keep me going in a positive direction. My Grandson Aiden, words can not say how blessed I am, to have him in my life.
  16. Me to, and it's looking like I will thanks to all the kind folks here at TIA! The tiacrew is second to none! The out-pouring of support, has me in tears.
  17. I have a spare charger I am not using that I can offer
  18. I am blown away by the support of the TIACREW! Honestly, when I saw Glasseyi's donation and ChrisK's posts, I broke out in tears. You all are the greatest. Before this year, I really have never had to experience a death in my family. This year, I have been to funerals for Sabrena's Mother, My Uncle, My Brothers Wife, and now my Father. This has been a real tough year, with my own health, and my back issues. Worrying about losing my job, because of many management changes, my vehicle being just about ready for the scrap yard, and not able to afford a replacement at this time. It's so awesome, that folks like you all come together to help out. I believe in karma, and I always do my best to pay it forward, and help out when I can. We always donate stuff, we don't use anymore to Goodwill. I am the type of person, that would give my last dollar to help out my fellow man. I consistently volunteer at work, for food drives for the homeless, toys for tots, coats for kids, and other charities. Like I said, I believe in karma, and what comes around, goes around. And the folks here at TIA, are living proof of it. I am not the best at expressing my feelings, but I hope the words I wrote, expresses how much I appreciate the folks here at TIA,and what you have done, to help out in these tough times for me and my family. God Bless, -Steven
  19. Good Day Crew! I want to put out a feeler, if anyone would be interested in buying the DeWalt DCN660 w/ a 5.0 Battery and Charger that I received has member of the month here at TIA. I have only ran about 100 nails through it, to test it out. I really hate that I may have to part with this, however, my go-fund-me campaign is not working. Like they say, when it rains, it pours, has I also had to buy 2 "used" front tires for the family truckster, and I don't think it will last much longer. It has over 200,000 miles on it. I can't wait until 2016 is over, this has been the worst year for me and my family. I always keep my head up, and look to the positive vibes. -Steven
