  1. You will get it for around €520 from the U.K, I know it's still a bit dearer than the U.S but at least you've warranty and the option to buy blades on home soil.
  2. Did blade arbor not affect you in this case Chris
  3. What flexvolt tools are you looking to buy, be careful with saws because the blade arbor is different which means you won't be able to get blades over here. I'm not sure if the grinder arbor is any different.
  4. Well it means they need to be used with a transformer also because they would be 110v. Which is the way tools are used on site here anyway. Power tools are sold in two different voltages in the UK, 240v for diy guys and then tradesmen tend to use the 110v because that's all that's allowed on most sites because of health and safety laws here
  5. We have only got to change the plug top
  6. Would u not get screwed on taxes and you will also have no warranty. If you get a faulty unit you will need to ship it back to the states. As much as I'm always tempted by the idea of ordering from the states I just don't think it's really worth it
  7. How about the mafell p1cc.

  9. There is an transformer on the power cord but you should have received it with the radio
  10. How good would a toughsystem vacuum be. I've space on my rack just waiting for something to fill it up.
  11. http://www.ffx.co.uk/tools/product/Festool-202307-4014549284063-Fan-Babygrow-Blue Anyone looking to pick Chris up a present for the baby
  12. Dropped my toughsystem off a roof about 20ft up, landed on a corner with zero damage just a bit scuffed up. The volume control fell off also but just clicked straight back on. Still in perfect working order
  13. They sell them in one of irelands biggest hardware chains. Pure crap
  14. Good to know this. I just put up a mahogany door today which I found really soft on the tools. It must be the African mahogany on the chart
  15. They do mention it being heavy in there video till they change the battery out, I wonder does it balance out though when it's loaded.

Not sure if this is the guy that mentioned 3d printing these on here before but just found them and thought I'd share for those interested Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/142149169447
  17. I am very impressed with mine so far. Probably 10k nails in and I've had no more than 10 jams I'd say. Haven't fired anything over 45mm into hardwood but they sunk no problem. I can't compare to the older model but to me it's not too heavy and runtime is great. As for the light, it's not a big deal for me yet as I haven't been using the nailer where I can't just switch a light on.
  18. So many different gauge nailers. I already own the 16g so I'd be interested in the 23g pinner.
  19. So I ended up purchasing the 745 with rolling stand. Reasons I went for it over the flexvolt which I was really close to buying, first was the blades, I like to buy good quality blades that are worth sharpening and there isn't much of a choice for the flexvolt over here in Ireland and second I'm also in the market for a dust extractor and the flexvolt being cordless just meant I'd have to switch the vacuum on and off manually when used together. I should have it today and have a couple of jobs for it straight away, looking forward to using it
  20. I'm in Ireland. Where there's no value even when on sale. I paid €600 yesterday for the 745 with rolling stand
  21. Raygrahams in Northern Ireland have stock. And numerous adds on eBay displaying as in stock.
  22. Couple of places in the UK and Ireland have stock.
