  1. I got lucky, a cute, busty, green-eyed redhead who looks like a younger Christina Hendricks... My kit came with a belt clip on the impact but not on the drill so I ended up buying a belt clip for the drill and a bit holder for the impact off Amazon. Ill be selling them with the kit I guess, I'd better put an ad up in the for sale section now that I found out she smartly got the kit with the free M18 Lantern too!!!
  2. It looks perfect for applying some pressure to the head to make someone more amenable to cooperation. I know some people who might be interested...
  3. It looks like it might be a nice spot for a skylight to let a little sunshine on your Milwaukee box and give a little more headroom, that or put a nice new gable on that side of the shed
  4. Yeah I think so, I didn't bother using it, the texture of the toolbox's powdercoat is practically like sandpaper so I don't see the pad moving much but maybe if you were just using the bottom box with the included pad it might make it more secure.
  5. No, thank you. It's my pleasure.
  6. You could just put bumpers on the lid where it would contact the ceiling or alternatively attach a bungee to the loop inside the lid to the pegboard inside to limit the ROM of the lid...
  7. Hey congrats on the new box, I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!
  8. I was joking about my "old decrepit" Fuel HammerDrill/Impact kit a few weeks ago with her so she surprises me and tells me she ordered the new kit! I love my old Fuel kit, I think I've only had it since Dec so it's not even a year old yet. It was super sweet of her but I'm tempted to have her cancel, I could sell the old kit I'm sure, I even still have the retail cardboard cover for the case lol. Hmmm wonder how much I can sell the kit for, the Fuel2 kit does look sweet...
  9. Apple offers one I believe. Veterens deserve every penny and more. Here is a site that lists a bunch that I came across for my Dad before he passed: http://militarybenefits.info/military-discounts/
  10. Nice. Enjoy a really great saw. The blade it comes with isn't horrible but consider throwing a Diablo on there at some point for even better performance... Sweet on the veterans discount, wish it was even more..,
  11. True but the bigger depth of cut also allows for more depth when cutiting at angles too...
  12. I got the Ryobi kit in the big gray plastic suitcase. The one with the reciprocating saw, drill, circular saw, vacuum and charger. I don't even know how long ago I got it. 15years maybe 20? All the tools still work great save for the drill which I smoked drilling 5 inch holes in ancient cladding. I've long since moved onto lithium batteries and the tools all seem to have gotten a second life. With a lithium battery pack and a Diablo thin kerf blade the little 5 3/8" still works like a charm after all these years.
  13. Well the 7 1/4" can cut anything the smaller saws can but reverse is not true. Buy the bigger one for versatility and ability to cut everything a 7 1/4" can. Later if you want comfort you can always get the m12 for smaller jobs. Having too big a saw won't prevent you from finishing a job, it only will fatigue you a little more from the weight, but having a saw too small will stop you in your tracks occasionally. I don't own an m12, I have an ancient ryobi 5 3/8" I threw a Diablo thin kerf on and it's great for small stuff to just throw around but the fuel 7 1/4" is my go to now for bigger stuff and it's not really heavy at all for the power and being 7 1/4. I will replace the Ryobi with a fuel m12 at some point though. It is nice to see they dropped the price of the 7 1/4" by $30 though.

    New sawhorse

Jeez one twitch from the bottom guy and that guy with the saw might lose a toe.
  15. I think like those stating above blade selection is so much easier with the 7 1/4" plus it gives more incentive to eventually buy the m12 fuel circular saw for the little things. The 6 1/2" is super nice but it is in the middle and I'd rather have a 7 1/4" and 5 3/8". The 7 1/4" can cut anything and everything the 6 1/2" can but there are times the 7 1/4" will work where the 6 1/2" won't.
  16. The five year warranty is super nice too, don't discount the value in that...
  17. I think anyone can sign up for a Pro account, I actually have a couple and get multiple emails. These coupon codes are like personal 26 digit codes that expire when used and also come with a week or so expiration date. I like having a pro account just for the emailed digital receipts more than anything, it's so convenient to have a digital record emailed instead of relying on a little slip of paper when needing to keep track of expenses on tons of things for a big project like a house remodel, not to mention HD's receipts have a nasty habit of fading over time.
  18. They were emailed $20 of of $200 coupons from HD. They send them to me occasionally, I think Pro member email stuff.
  19. No problem, remember too the cords have to exit the back so you don't want to have it snugged up to the wall anyway. Included are cord brackets to wrap the cords around when wheeling the unit, you don't have to install these, especially if you don't intend to move it once set up, but they do add an inch or two to the clearance at the back... FYI the casters add about 6.5" overall...
  20. Hey that 15.5" measurement is more like 15.75" but the top is held up by struts so there is some play in it. I tried to measure what I think you're asking for. Here's your drawing back and some photos of where I think you want the tape? Also that measurement from the deck of the top lidded compartment to the side rail is what you want. I measured with and without the mat, not sure what you wanted...
  21. I think they considered the original $698 a test and hence the "Special Buy" to test the waters. It seems the pricing is still different in some places. It's a great box. I can see it might not be for everyone but for $698, I actually bought both pieces separately to use two $20 coupons to make it $658 essentially for the pair, it's a very good deal in this segment. The box mine came in even had the store tag still on it with the special buy Memorial Day promotion lol:
  22. The new flood that has the tilting head has a receptacle for an extension cord. I don't think the stand tower one does. I think the reasoning is the new flood has a massive heat sink in the head buried under all the plastic louvres so it can take being run 24/7 while powered off the mains whereas battery powered lights are never likely to be powered on so long at a pop...
  23. Lol beaten to the post by a min..
  24. That sounds like an amazing deal. The only thing I see is that free battery tag says with purchase of kit 1001-277-527 which is the fuel drill driver kit just below?
  25. Real men know how to and can rip pallet straps off with bare hands but yeah should have some kind of knife, or at the very least a small torch to burn things
