  1. Looks great, keep up the good work!
  2. Those look very similar to the PC 20v max series. I wonder if they would fit.
  3. Thanks Mike. I've got some high spots I need to deal with. The only problem is these areas are now compacted from the tractor so flattening them out is going to require some manual labor.
  4. Had 17 yards of top soil delivered this morning and I'm still about 2-3 yards short. I'm still low by the side of the garage and towards the front. Making steady progress though. .
  5. Good question. I was back blading with the tractor quite a bit. Once we spread out the initial 25 yards, the remaining 21 yards I was able to add in layers of 2-3 inches, It actually compacted pretty well to the point I was able drive the tractor on it and not make a huge depression. We had some rain last night and I went ahead and inspected it and I saw some settling bu no huge craters. I'm going to try to top it off with the top soil next weekend. I need to check the weather first though. My biggest decision right now is go with sod or seed. If I go with seed, I don't know if I'm going to have enough time to get the lawn established before the cold weather comes in. I essentially have about 7 weeks at this point. where as if I was go with sod, I think 7 weeks to get it grow it would be ok..
  6. Got up bright and early to start spreading the fill. My Dad delivered the tractor in a roll-off. The day went pretty well, I only buried the tractor once. Used the Jeep and some chains to pull it out. We ended up using 46 cubic yard of fill and I still have to cap it off with top soil During the course of the day, we found a couple of toads and a salamander in the fill. My daughter rescued them and set them free.

  8. That's a lot of 80 pound bags of quickrete.
  9. LOL, I said the same thing as I pulled in the driveway tonight. Good thing my Dad is bringing over his tractor that has a bucket on it. Otherwise, I would be starting to panic about now
  10. Took delivery of 25 yards of fill today. Going to level everything and compact everything on Saturday morning and grab some more material.
  11. Had 25 yards of fill delivered today. Will be spreading and compacting tommorow.
  12. After having my Cobra's for about 6 weeks now. They are my go to tool. I haven't even looked at my channel locks which is a shame because i love them.
  13. Congrats. I have all 3 of them (Impact, Pocket Driver and the Drill). Power and the ability to get into some tight space are great. You're going to love them.
  14. So yesterday I stroll into my local HD looking to get a pole saw to limb up some trees. As I was heading down into that section, I came across a clearance area of miscellaneous lawn and garden tools. In that area there were the following items. A Ryobi Electric Pole Saw - Open Box - Former display unit. Banged up and the chain and bar were loose. ( No Price) http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-6-Amp-Pole-Chainsaw-RY43160A/203159669 Ryobi 4 Stroke Power Head - Open Box marked down to $38 from the original of $149.00. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Ryobi-Expand-It-4-Cycle-30-cc-Power-Head-Trimmer-RY34006/202042224 I track down a employee to ask him about the pole saw and if knew what the price was. He said he didn't know. I then asked if we could reset the bar and chain and see if it worked. He sad sure, and spent about 5 minutes getting everything right. Everything looks good with the exception of the cosmetic appearance. While were talking, another employee comes up and I ask him about the price and he responds I'll give you 10% off. I respond well that's only $10 and it's an open box with damage and none of the manuals and everything else. He responds that's the best I can do. I then ask him then how does the power head which is in a open box ends up being discounted 75% from the original price? It makes no sense. He just says that's the price and then walks away. At this point, I'm annoyed and thank the first guy for helping me out but for only a savings of $10, I'm just going to buy the new unit.
  15. The summer up in the Northeast hasn't been that hot, however it's been very dry. The past 2-3 weeks I think it's rained once for about 30 minutes, All of the lawns are beginning to burn and crisp up.
  16. Table came in this week. This thing is awesome! I love the design and portability of it. Thanks again Eric and Dan! TIA rocks!!
  17. Continuing on the window replacement project in the house. Had 5 to do today. Everything was going well until I unwrapped #4 and came across this and of course I had already torn the old window out. I installed it temporarily until the replacement comes in from my supplier.
  18. Thanks! I'm going to try to make this as easy as possible, A good friend has access to a dump truck and my father has a Ford Diesel tractor with a 5' bucket on it. I'll be running the tractor as my buddy is going to the supply yard to get the fill. Doing it like this we should be able to fill it in 2"-3" layers at a time instead of a huge massive pile of material. Should be starting this in a couple of weeks, Just need to coordinate everyone.
  19. Can't wait. I have a 24' x 24' garage and with both snowmobiles, vehicles, tools, lawn equipment and kids stuff. I'm always fighting with the bench space I have. So having the table to use as a work space is going to be huge.
