  1. It usually takes me about 30 minutes to realize what I forgot and walk back to the garage 5 times before I even start.
  2. Yep, it was bad today. After I mowed the lawn at 11:00AM this morning, I jumped in my daughters INTEX pool and lied there for about 15 minutes.
  3. What was the price dropped too? I just checked my local store and it' still at the full retail cost.
  4. Beautiful setup, but I would be compelled to carry insurance if anything happened to it.
  5. Figured I would pass this along. Irwin made a deal with NWS to re-brand some of their pliers. When they first came out in the stores, Lowes was charging $40 a piece for them which I thought was steep for what they were. I just checked the price and they have dropped. I may end up picking these up this weekend as my next purchase. It's coming down to this or the Knipex Cobras IRWIN 8-in Diagonal Cutting Pliers with PowerSlot - $35.00 http://www.lowes.com/pd_638073-28303-1926025_1z0vj9iZ1z1172vZ1z13e72Z1z140pi__?productId=50289489&pl=1 IRWIN 8-in Long Nose Pliers -$30.00 http://www.lowes.com/pd_480872-281-1902419_1z1172vZ1z140piZ1z11pdb__?productId=50401958&pl=1
  6. I checked out the Craftsman version last night. They look pretty cool. Honestly, I thought they were going to be bigger and closer to a traditional set of Channel Locks.
  7. Thanks! Yes. That pic was from last year when I was stripping the roof on the garage. I had just pressure washed the deck so it was looking good. The deck is about 10 years and we did that as well.. I have a couple of boards that are starting to rot and need to be replaced.
  8. I'd build a shed to get all my lawn equipment and other items out of the garage.
  9. I'm thinking about picking up a set of the Knipex Cobra's. Does any of the traditional stores sell them? I may just end up going to Sears and pick up the re-branded version if I can't find them.
  10. Honestly, it's not that hard to do. As long as you measure everything correctly, the install goes pretty smoothly. I used a carpenters folding rule to measure all of mine and this is the best way to do it. No guessing at all. Besides, what you save in the labor costs to pay someone else, you can invest in a better window.
  11. Thanks - I'm almost done with the all of the windows on the 1st floor. Only have 2 more to go then going to the second floor.
  12. Looks great. No doubt it's a lot of work. I put a 12'x16' paver patio in about 7 years ago. Did all of the excavation by hand. It felt very counterproductive to dig a giant hole only to fill it back in with base material.
  13. The best HF Coupon Site. http://www.hfqpdb.com/
  14. I had the 21 gallon compressor and I ended up returning it, due to the fact that the AMP draw at startup was too high for my garage. My detached garage has a single 15 AMP line running on 12-2 too it. So the compressor would draw too much AMP's and either not start or trip the breaker. I ended up buying a Craftsman Vertical 30 Gallon Oilless Compressor. I've nicknamed it the "Mind Eraser" due to the decibel level when it's running. I loved the 5 drawer tool cart, that thing was awesome. Best value currently on the market. Also have a lot of the hand tools as well as the 3 ton floor jack and the stands. No issues with them. I tend to stay away from their power tools, however I do have the 1/2 drill which I've completely abused and it' still working quite well. http://www.harborfreight.com/1-2-half-inch-low-speed-electric-drill-97594.html Also picked this Angle grinder up. It's such a huge POS (1/2" of backlash in the gearset) but the thing just won't die. I've actually started to respect the little guy. http://www.harborfreight.com/4-12-in-43-amp-angle-grinder-69645.html
  15. Love that show. When my daughter was born, it was one of the shows that was available in the hospital. We watched it constantly while she was recovering from her section. Now, it's one of my daughters favorite show as well. I think we brainwashed her at an early age
  16. I have a Harbor Freight about 5 minutes from my house. It's like having a crackhead, whose dealer is sitting on the corner of the street. With everything that you buy, set your expectations accordingly. I tend to pass anything that has a cord attached too it. However I did purchase their 4 /12 angle grinder for $10 and that thing works great for what I do even though it's a huge POS. I've had great luck with the Nitril Gloves, Shop Rags, Micro-Fibers. The free flashlights are great...as long as you swap the batteries out as you buy them The ones that come with it are usually leaking and eat the contacts. I've had great luck with all of the Pittsburgh Pro Hand Tools Breaker Bar http://www.harborfreight.com/12-in-Drive-25-in-Breaker-Bar-67933.html Metric Impact Sockets http://www.harborfreight.com/10-pc-12-in-drive-metric-impact-deep-wall-socket-set-67915.html Quick Release Extension http://www.harborfreight.com/4-pc-38-in-drive-quick-release-extension-bar-set-67976.html Gear Wrenches http://www.harborfreight.com/7-pc-sae-combination-ratcheting-wrench-set-61396.html http://www.harborfreight.com/7-piece-sae-ratcheting-combo-wrench-set-96654.html Ratchet - My favorite as of late http://www.harborfreight.com/38-in-drive-professional-composite-tear-drop-ratchet-62318.html Just picked this one up http://www.harborfreight.com/38-in-drive-professional-low-profile-ratchet-62328.html
  17. I plan on going out this weekend. Been too busy with work, wife's birthday, 4th and installing more replacement windows in the house.
  18. Before I jumped into the world of Information Systems. I used to do 3 and 5 axis programming on machining centers up in the Northeast. If the jobs were more like this I would have stayed in the field, but doing programming on Medical and Areospace I became burnt out pretty quick.
  19. My passion/vice is snowmobiling and I've been riding since I was 7 years old. My name goes back to a sled I owned when I started to join some forums. The sled at the time was a 1999 Polaris XC600. I've been using the same name regardless of the forums I subscribe too.
  20. I'm sitting in my office @ work as I'm writing this. You have to love being salaried and work in the IT field. I love doing work for free on the Holidays.
  21. Golden Anniversary.....Whoops I just had a flashback when I was 19 and only had about $15 to spend for the weekend. Pretty much anything from Sam Adams these days. I have my Summer Ale fix going on right now.
  22. Looks great. What was the cost per lineal foot? Were getting ready to put up a fence and looked at some of the vinyls options and had sticker shock
  23. It's simple as peer pressure and the tool trucks are the drug dealers supplying the crack.
