My problem with getting the PS22 is that I have the PS21. I have never had an issue regarding runtime or power for any projects I have delegated it to. Not to mention the PS22 did not lose any size compared to the PS21. They are both the exact same size. Brushless should have made it even more compact, even if by millimeters. Is it worth it for the belt clip and bit holder? Convince me I am wrong guys.

I just got the Metabo 18v circular saw and reciprocating saw. Both are made in the People's Republic of China but the tools look great, feel great, and the grips line up on the handles.

Checked the Metabo 18v recip. saw in my cart on the Lowe's app and it said free shipping today. Placed my order with the current $15 off of $50 code and I was out the door for $98. Waiting on my package now. I am comparing my new Metabo circular and recip. saws to my outgoing DeWalt 20v circular and recip. I am selling them to a friend with a few extra 20v drills.

I have the DeWalt 20v right angle drill and I use it a lot. Good LED, compact, multi-position grip and trigger, variable speed trigger, ect. I find I am using it in conjunction with my compact DCD790 drill all the time. I also have the Bosch 12v right angle drill that almost never use. Shame, really.

The Lowe's listing online states the miter saw is the 6.2ah saw kit. However, the one that was in my store was the lesser 5.5ah kit. Just an FYI, the saw is made in China unlike the German made impulse dill. I am sure its still well made. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk

I am located in Northeast Florida, Jax, and we had one Lowe's that carried Metabo as a test market. That is where I saw these deals. I was able to pick up an Impulse hammer drill kit with 2 batteries, circular saw, and 2 battery/charger starter kit (total $350 for all).

Call DeWalt customer service, they will most likely send you a new one. That is what they did for me when my 5ah battery fuel gauge stopped working.

I would say get the Oil-impulse driver! Especially if you already have the xdt08. You will be impressed. If you don't need the max torque the TDT170 offers then the oil-impulse is for you. It really is insanely quiet and such a pleasure to use. The feathering controls of the trigger are fantastic. I have grown to love the pulse aspect of the impact. The controls on the oil-impulse are the same as the TDT148. The TDT170 adds a few extra controls. I am going from my memory on the controls right now as I don't have them in front of me.

It may have nearly the same specs but I think Makita found ways to tweak it for the better and opted to do so. Being slightly smaller and with a few extra modes they managed to create an impact that is smaller than any 12v impact head. When compared head to head with the TDT148, it comes out with the victory for speed and power while under a load. The 2 are very close, but the TDT170 is more powerful. Compared to every other impact on the market, the TDT148 blew all others away in comparison tests done by users. Now, the TDT170 has bested it.

Hey rrich1, I absolutely love this impact. It is insanely powerful yet has a more compact head than my tiny Bosch 12v impact. The modes are very helpful once you get used to using them. I do not regret the $180 spent on it. I paid the same amount for my Makita oil-impulse soft impact, which has many modes as well. I will say the TDT170 is a very quiet impact when in use. Much more so than my DeWalt brushless model it replaced. I have not used the new 3 speed DeWalt to compare. I actually use my Makita oil-impulse soft impact driver more as I have fallen in love with the speed and control it has. I do a lot of woodworking and cabinet building as I am a trim carpenter. I use the TDT170 for everything else.

That is a great price! Same as the Ridgid Pro cart. And the handle will tilt backwards to allow the bottom box lid to open up. I am excited to check this out and I don't own a single ToughSystem box.

I completely agree with you. I base my purchases off of how the tool feels in my hand and then based off of others reviews who would use the tool in a similar way that I would. I was just throwing out there the specs that I found while internet browsing. I watch a YouTube video over the weekend that was comparing the Bosch 12v brushed to the newer brushless models. The brushless models absolutely had more power and a lot longer runtime than the brushed models. Bosch is crazy for putting the torque specs up there like they have it. Rest easy Bosch 12v owners. The brushless are powerful little tools!

I understand this too. But it is a bit deceiving on this vacuum as even with the FlexVolt batteries the vacuum runs at 20v. It is the same vacuum as the standard 20v vac with a new connector to accept the new larger batteries. I too think it could be labeled differently than DeWalt is currently calling it.

Waiting for one more price drop and then the miter saw is mine! Tool manager said to wait for next week as there will be another price drop. I have the DeWalt 20v miter saw but I think this would be better. Sent from my SM-G900P using Tapatalk

If you have Metabo 18v or would like to pick up some to try out then I would check your Local Lowe's. There is one Lowe's in my area that had the end cap of Metabo tools which are now all heavily discounted. They are being clearanced out currently to be sold online only.
