  1. Oh yeah! Tomorrow we see what Metabo has up their sleeve! I am excited about the cordless table saw. Now I will have to choose between this and the DeWalt.
  2. Not worth the time to fix it. Just go purchase a new bare tool off of Ebay for about he same as cost in parts.
  3. I am waiting on the plunge saw. My tracks are screaming for cordless. Until then, I'll buy the table saw during the Black Friday/X-mas discount season.
  4. Well, my local Home Depot has 3 FlexVolt miter saws on the top shelf.

No problem! I love these impacts. But I will say the oil impulse driver is my favorite. I work with wood and lots of dedicates so it works best for me.
  6. My initial thoughts: The Tstak rolling cart with handle - I don't see this being a great option as a coulple boxes stacked would weight more than I think a Tstak box could take without significant flexing. We all know the Tstak are great but are very pliable and not made of rigid plastic. Not sure I would truck a box with wheels and 1 center handle to move a stack around. Maybe they upgraded the plastic on this unit. The deep box with storage lid - That would be fine and all, you could switch lids with your current box models if you wanted this setup right now. But with the handled lid, no other boxes can be stacked on top and latched. This means that this deep box will always have to be on top of the stack. The tote is interesting and I could definitely see a use for this. I am most excited to get my hands on this. I hope the plastic was beefed up on this as well. Overall, I am happy to see new additions to the Tstak lineup. Now if they would just start packaging all of their tools in them here in the states.

I ordered mine from eBay. Love it!
  8. I agree wildroamer. I love my PS32 and my PS31. Fantastic ergonomics and plenty of power for what I use a 12v drill for. I only wished they would have used the new Fein 12v ASCM 4 speed brushless drill in the comparison. I think it would have done a lot better. The brushed Fein 12v drill they used is an older model for sure.
  9. It has been reported that DeWalt is working on a blade left version and should be due out Spring 2017.
  10. This is now confirmed to be coming to the US market in Spring 2017. The saw will be packaged with a 6ah battery and charger in a Tstak box . I don't know about you but I am excited. It will be mine.
  11. Yeah, in hindsight, I probably should have requested a different tool. I just didn't need any more drills. I really don't need the Metabo, haha.
  12. I just received shipping confirmation from Metabo of my free bare tool from this promotion. They honored the entry from my Lowe's $185 purchase of a SB 18 LTX BL Impulse kit. I chose the band saw to try out since it was so new and would have good resale. Rock on!
  13. I ordered mine from Ebay, shipped from Japan, for right under $180 bare tool.
  14. That DeWalt deal is okay. The battery is only the 4ah and the charger is the SLOW charger. The light is the bottom tiered one. I would much rather have the DCL050 area light. I will say it is nice the 'free' bare tools category has the more premium versions of the reciprocating and circular saw.
  15. Just bought these with the $15 off $50 promo. I must say, these are really nice drill bits. I am going to really like these.
  16. Personally, I went with the Makita Oil-Impulse driver over upgrading my 1st gen DeWalt brushless. The Makita impact has insane trigger feather and control back by loads of power. Not to mention it is so easy on the ears. That being said, I loved my DeWalt impact for the year I used it. I would still like to handle and test out the new 887.
  17. I have a Fein Turbo II and I really like it. I picked it up off Ebay at great deal to get me started in the dust collector game. I bought the dust bags for it at HD online. I have a dust deputy I am going to mount to a bucket which fits perfectly right on top of the Fein. That being said I recently wanted something smaller and more portable for jobsite use and as a sanding vac. I placed an order for a Festool CT-Mini. Patiently waiting for it's arrival.
  18. It really is going to be a pain to track down and pay for all of those parts. At this point the Ridgid 10" tile saw R4091 has been clearanced down to $200.03 at every store in the country. The new model R4092 is replacing it. It is even discontinued on the website. If I was you I would drive around the every Home Depot in your area and look for one left up in the rafters or another display. I picked up 2 display models of this saw but both were complete. Well, one was missing the angle gauge. I also picked up 2 new in the box. I am going to resell them as I don't need a tile saw this big.
  19. I am with you! It should be an easy upgrade. A nice piece of metal shaped how you would like, remove the battery, pre-drill 2 small holes in the back of the plastic at the base of the motor (pop case off for piece of mind if you need it), drill holes in belt clip, attach belt slip with 2 small washer head screws with large threads. Voila!
  20. The blower is the same as every other brands blower. They all look nearly identical. This one looks exactly like the Makita. The DeWalt one has the variable speed switch in a different spot plus it has a variable speed trigger. The Makita did not have a variable speed trigger on the one I used last.
  21. Does anyone have the Metabo KSA18 LTX LiPower 6-1/2-Inch 18V Cordless Circular Saw? I am wondering how it cuts with it having such a low blade speed (2700 rpm). Compared to my DeWalt DCS391 20v (5250rpm) or the lesser DeWalt DCS393 (3700 rpm) and other top brands at around the same 5000 rpm, I am not sure how this will perform. Any insight?
  22. Ididn't know they abandoned the motion sensor lights. I actually like that. Not like the leds would kill the battery.
  23. Kruton, I see you got it! How is the saw? What say you about it? Nice collection you have going. I'll post mine this week.
