  1. Wow, I have not seen this one! Looks awesome! Best one yet. Price isn't bad either. Glad they now have soft close drawers. I really want this. Anyone have the SKU?
  2. I wish DeWalt would release anything in the 12v lineup.
  3. Compact only. To be fair. I am not a heavy adhesive user. I am a trim Carpenter by trade. I do renovation work as well.
  4. I bought it and returned it. Why, it has nearly zero improvements over the 18v version. This is mainly to do with weight, it is heavy. I doubt the bare tool weighs any less than the 18v one. The LED is nearly useless, an afterthought. Sure it has the ergonomic grip of the 20v, but it was just way too heavy for me. Why wasn't a brushless motor used to save weight?
  5. I was on my local Woodcraft waiting list for the 2nd round of the Pro5 shipment coming in. Woodcraft was told it would be February as well. But.....I just received a call and an order of Pro5 sanders came in unexpectedly! I am not getting my second Pro5 sander as I got one from ToolNut. I am keeping the systainer to use as my 5" abrasives systainer as well as the voucher. I will be selling the tool and everything else that comes in the kit (paper backing and plastic storage tray too). If you want it, PM me. I hope your local Woodcrafts are going to be getting a surprise shipment in.
  6. And I had my fingers crossed DeWalt might be releasing updated 12v tools. Bummer.
  7. Finally. Definitely surprised it's 20v over 40v or 60v but it makes sense.
  8. Grrr, where is the medium Tstak size, you know, between the small and large box? Looks like all they did here was put the lid access top on the large box, hell, I could have done that. Not to mention, nothing can be stacked and locked on top.
  9. Wow, very cool. That looks awesome. I could use a good charger as I only have a trickle charger.
  10. Now this is really cool. I don't have a need for it but I can see its value.
  11. The power supply isn't being sold with 4 FlexVolt batteries, especially 4 9.0ah ones. That would be really expensive. It is sold with 4 4.0ah and 1 6.0ah FlexVolt battery. The saw above the FlexVolt circular saw is another circular saw, just turned around. Track saw is coming though.
  12. At least it may mean a 20v regular recip saw is around the corner...with a 4 way position blade clamp, light, and hook. I can dream.
  13. They will need a whole new marketing plan as the new 9.0ah FlexVolt will be no comparison. I think the new 6.0ah 20v with 20700 cells is going to be amazing as well.
  14. I agree. In the video it look like it was still going to vibrate your teeth loose. I hope they not only fix some of the vibration issue with adding a brushless motor. I love the concept of this compact reciprocating saw and would like to enjoy owning one.
  15. Screenshots from today as DeWalt was killing it with new releases coming! So excited.
  16. I am betting the 9.0ah FlexVolt and 6.0ah 20v will be released right around the same time. 6.0ah STAFDA showing today on the new D handle rotary hammer.
  17. This is coming. It was also seen today at STAFDA
  18. I have the compact drill with the 60 lumen light. I think that would be an amazing feature on the nail guns.
  19. STAFDA and Toolpig on Instagram giving first looks and a video of them in use at the show today. Go check them out. Slated for release during early Summer 2017. Why so long away!? Come one DeWalt, you have had so long to develop these. At any rate, they are coming. The LED's can be seen in my screen capture at the base above the battery, just like the 16ga. I feel the 16ga lights are near useless so I hope these new ones are brighter and better. They look better from the image.
  20. For you guys that own the 16ga, how are you liking it after a while of use? I purchased it and compared it to my 10yr old 18v I still use. I found the 18v had what felt like loads more power with noticeably less kickback. I know from all the online reviews the new nailer will not set 2.5" nails in hardwood so I didn't even mess with that. The nailers with batteries removed aren't that different in size, but weight for sure is a lot more with the old 18v. The LEDs on the new nailer are shit, even compared to the old 18v yellow ones. Why didn't DeWalt put the lights in same spot on the new gun? Overall I was left disappointed that after over 10 years of 18v nailer being out there really wasn't much improved on the new nailer. Brushless, yes, but I honestly never had a runtime issue on the old nailer, I just popped another battery on when it needed it. I also compared these 2 nailers to the Paslode 16ga. The Paslode was lighter, more ergonomic, smaller, more power, felt more precise, and was overall awesome. It left me with a smile. I haven't wanted to go gas but it seems this is the way to go. Especially since DeWalt is refusing to add a 20v connection to an 18ga nailer.
  21. Nice. I got the email. Picked up the 10oz 20v caulk gun.
  22. Yes, this. Did you not get it emailed to you as well? Also, what are the dates on the promotion?
  23. Where did you get this from? My internet search pulls up nothing. I really want this one.
  24. If kits, that's a decent price. Throw in a Lowe's 10% coupon to sweeten the deal.
  25. I wish I had a Menards close by down here in Florida.
