  1. I ordered a new PJ Utility trailer (custom ordered) this past thursday. I went with 83x16 tandem axle. I added primer, blackwood flooring, and what they call atv ramps. I also swapped the black paint out for white paint to match my pickup truck. Also just over a month ago I bought a new mower. A 60in SCAG Turf Tiger with the 37 hp Vanguard engine, a mulch kit, and a light kit. I am still waiting to go pick both the mower and trailer up. Kinda a waiting game for a phone call of them telling me they are ready to pick up.
  2. @AltanI'm no expert in battery technology but after getting into tools back in 2016 I have learned quite a bit about them. 21700 is the sizing of each cell in the battery: 21 mm in diameter and 70mm in length. typically the higher the number the more potential for longer runtimes and higher power output. The old cell standard was 18650 or 18 mm in diameter by 65 mm in length. In the last few years companies started switching to 21700 for more power and longer runtimes. Many brands nowadays use an ammount of cells divisible by 5. One cell is equivalent to 3.6 volts. 5 cells times 3.6 equals the advertised 18 volts that many tools use. Slim packs use 5 cells while many larger packs use 10 cells. Some brands even have 15 cell packs now.
  3. hmm an 8.0. Maybe they finally have a 10 cell battery with 21700 cells coming
  4. no link sorry. I have lost track of where I saw it.
  5. This is using Egos new "crate style" motor. Ego provides the motor and the customer outfits it to their products kinda like what Briggs and Honda do with their engines. The Ego motor will have an approximate output equivalent to a 200cc engine. The engine will accept the regular batteries and the commercial backpack battery. Looks like a pretty slick system and well timed too considering the recent California ban of combustion engines in small equipment within the next few years.
  6. My ladder has arrived. I was surprised at the lack of wobble in the ladder considering it is a fiberglass ladder. I guess that shows how well built little giant ladders are.
  7. I saw a cordless miter saw but otherwise nothing that you mentioned. The saw wasn't their 10 in equivalent. It was maybe in the 8in range.
  8. I have had a few pairs of their shoes. They aren't perfect in some cases but the best work shoes available in my opinion. I got some of their socks about a year ago I think and now I am getting a few more pairs to try. The socks are worth a try.
  9. I just ordered a Little Giant Conquest 2.0 Model 22 with All terrain leveling feet. I used a 10% off coupon I had which amounted to around $58 off. Shipping was $59. The discount was nice. I also got some stuff from Keen and Truwerk.
  10. Bought a Fiskars Pro Pruner to aid with cleaning out garden beds. I used it a bunch today and yesterday. Has worked great. The handles did not break.
  11. I do not know the answer to your question. I wish I could help.
  12. KC Tool if you are in the United States
  13. Anyone watch any coverage of GIE Expo this past week? Looked like a good amount of things to see.
  14. I also saw a 20v max tree loppers.
  15. I spotted a 20v max chemical sprayer at gie expo. go to 11:41 of this video.
  16. No I just have them in my garage. I personally wouldn't use them in a van. I would go with the van racks if you can even find any. Not sure why DeWALT discontinued them van racks
  17. DeWALT is introducing a new 20v max battery called Powerstack that foregoes the cylindrical cell system for a flat pack design. It will be available later this year. Here is a good read about it on ToolGuyd. https://toolguyd.com/dewalt-powerstack-battery/
  18. I have 3 of the regular wall racks setup and haven't had any issues even after a few years of use. Swapping out the plastic for metal just isn't needed in my opinion.
  19. I ordered the 2021 Wera advent calendar. I also got the new Knipex twin grip pliers.
  20. Yeah. Tough System 2.0 was a step in the right Direction in many ways but I think at this point Tough System the biggest issue with Tough System still lies with the mechanism for latching boxes together. I would keep the side handles to retain compatibility with Tough System Wall Racks but change the lid latches to be more like Packout.
  21. interesting. I think they make some things for Festool or used to.
  22. I have seen guys use this thing with rollers attached to a long pole with a slippery fabric connected. they push the roller up the roof then the snow slides down the fabric onto the ground. It might be an option. Also you could try a power broom. There are handheld options and options that look almost like a snowblower.
  23. @David London Battery powered equipment has come a long way. I currently use an Ego single stage snowblower. Runtime is good enough. I use it to make money in the winter. I don't even own a gas unit but I also have more Ego batteries than the average person. You won't likely run out of charge on your property unless you have a large amount of snow. In that case you would want a 2 or 3 stage snowblower. I want to say you could get 2 driveways of 2 car widths done on a single charge with a couple inches of snow.
  24. Milwaukee has announced plans for NPS and/or Pipeline. It is not looking good. They stated we will get neither in 2021.
