are flexvolt tools part of DeWalt's made in United States line of tools?

I prefer using right blade saw with my left hand. I don't mind the right blade design of the track saw.

whats the advantages and disadvantages of including a hook on a circular saw? I feel like I don't use it to its full potential but maybe Im just using it wrong? I find I can easily set the saw on the ground when the cutting is finished.

the bare tool high torque 3/4 in impact wrench is priced at $269. The bare tool impact and hammer drill are $100 and $120ish respectively. If I were to have picked 2 of the 3/4 impact wrenches I could have sold them for $200 a piece which is around $60 of savings for the buyer and would have $400 to invest in the flexvolt impact and hammerdrill. The flexvolt impact and hammerdrill set is around $400

A new ship date I saw listed november but not sure if its new orders or if it includes preorders

I got a reply from DeWalt. They said "I apologize if our new line of FlexVolt tools has been difficult to find. These tools have been released to the market. Pre-launch has been an overwhelming success. While a particular product may not be available immediately in your area, our factories are working extremely hard to meet demand and shipping to stores weekly."

almost thought about canceling my 2 orders so I could rebuy the same 2 tools but switch the free tools so I could get the more valuable impact wrenches for free then sell the free tools and purchase the flextvolt hammerdrill and impact driver kit. Would've essentially given me a free flexvolt battery, 2 amp hour battery, a fast charger, and a tool bag for free. The extra flex volt and 2 amp hour batteries may come in handy for heavy tool usage or if a more compact battery is desired.

found the website but no sign of the free tool deal. only found it on factory and cpo.

tried searching taner to see the free tool deal but found no store called taner.

may I suggest getting the dcf887 instead of the dcf886 because I feel like the 3 speed functionality is a handy feature. you got mode 3 which is max torque, ipm's, and rpm's for the toughest of fasteners but you also got mode 2 and 1 for when you either don't need the max settings or when you need to be more careful on certain fasteners or materials.

I asked dewalt via email so hope we will get an official date soon. most retailers seemed inconsistent. some say one date others say other dates. Some even just say backordered.

Was just curious if anyone knew what new tools are rumored or planned to be coming out for dewalt in north america. I know the first wave of flexvolt tools will be shiping in a week or so then a 9.0 battery and some 60v OPE will come out in early 2017. Heard that a flexvolt track saw and sds rotary hammer for north america might be a thing. Not sure what else.

when is the track compatible circular saw coming out? Is it coming to north america? I seen it in a video of europs flex volt but not for any for north america

So theres this guy at work who has been talkin smack about my DeWalt tools. He is an owner of m18 tools. He claims DeWalt's are terrible and will break. Also he says their 2 year warranty is an indication that they wont last. He also praises his Milwaukee tools. He says they are amazing and nothing wrong with them. Says he has never had an m18 battery go bad. Also claims the 5 year warranty is an indication that his Milwaukee's will last longer. Another thing he claims is his Milwaukee will outperform and is more powerful than any DeWalt cordless including the top of the line cordless because its a fuel. I compared specs of both top of the line 1/4" hex chuck impact drivers and on paper DeWalt seemed like it had better numbers. Thats just on paper numbers and not real world numbers. I know Milwaukee's are known for good batteries and DeWalt's are not. I was unaware of DeWalt's being prone to breakage after 2 years. Always thought they were a quality tool brand. I was just wanting to know about is DeWalt really terrible, poor performance, gonna break in 2 years, etc.? Also wanted to know is Milwaukee really as amazing as he praises it to be and last like he claims, better than DeWalt performance, etc.? I was hoping for and unbiased opinion about the matter. I just view the 2 companies as pretty equal and just say whether you get from DeWalt or Milwaukee is just personal preference.

Was wondering when Dewalt would announce new tools in June?

So I recently heard about from a co-worker at work that Dewalt is going to introduce a new line of tools that use 120v batteries. Supposedly any 120v battery will be smart enough to know if it connects to a 120v tool or a 20v tool and if connected to a 20v tool it will only output 20v instead of the full 120v. I was also told Dewalt will be releasing them in the next month or so. I tried searching the web for information about the new tools but found nothing. Not sure if this is true or not. Thought I would ask if it is or not and wondered what people thought about this rumor.
