The old design was a design based off of gas blowers. I see a loss of efficiency due to the battery being directly behind the air intake. The inline design is a more efficient design.
Maybe the piece somehow got into the box unnoticed. The saw should come preassembled in the box. That to me looks like it could be internals to a saw but it is hard to tell.
New flexvolt wall chaser coming to Europe. No info on NA availability. It is the first tool with built in rf to auto activate vacs. No remote is required.
@method so batteries with the circuitry will be compatible then? I recently saw some one had a DeWALT and Hercules drill (Harbor Freight DeWALT clone). When both tools were modified to work in the other tool neither tool worked apart from the lights. I'm guessing the Hercules didn't have the electronics.
I got a Diablo Demon Demon Tracking Point Amped blade for my DSC577. Supposedly on sale. Wanted the blade for demo work. Also got a Freud 28 tooth blade for my DCS520. Also supposedly on sale. Wanted to see how well a lower tooth blade would perform over the stock 42 tooth blade. Might make for a good sheathing saw if it performs well. Still contemplating whether I keep the second track saw (DCS520) or sell it. My total wasn't enough to get me free shipping so I threw in a 7 piece Fisch brad point drill bit set to get the free shipping. It was an entry level set but considering the set is made by Fisch they should be halfway decent.
I heard some batteries have electronics inside to communicate with the tool and therefore batteries from other brands may not even work even if they have an adapter.
If you have an insulated garage, it doesn't have to be heated or anything, you shouldn't have as many cold battery issues. Even a non insulated garage would at least keep wind out and maybe a few degrees warmer than outside.
The Mean Green are expensive but you are getting Commercial rated products. You will probably pay around $15k to $20k for a base model zero turn mower. One of the starter kits which included a trailer and 3 mowers was nearly $60k or more. I think it is more geared towards the pro lawn care guy that is looking to convert from gas power to battery power but get the full setup all at once.
Anything in the CAS has this because they use Metabo batteries. My Ego batteries have the release on the tool and not the battery as well. I was thinking there was another brand but I can't think of what it is.
Might be grinding gears? Looks to me like in high gear you had to hold the switch to keep it fully in second gear or else gravity would drop the switch slightly.
