  1. That is the main reason I like the wall rack I can grab any box in the stack and don't have to worry about removing other boxes in the stack. Also the Systainer drawers or even a custom drawer setup for boxes would serve a similar function.
  2. I have resorted to Tough System wall racks and Systainers for the power tools, casters for the workbench and miter stand, and pre existing shelving/pegboard for everything else to help pack away my shop. It does the job. I wouldn't mind rebuilding/redesigning the preexisting shelving to make them a bit more efficient (and square/not cupped) but I was told I shouldn't.
  3. What I heard it is a totally new dedicated table saw and not apart of the table saw lines that have been available in Europe.
  4. The SawStop jobsite saw is already a premium table saw. If the features if the Festool are the same as the SawStop then I wouldn't expect the price to be much different. I expect it to include a sliding table which will drive the price up a bit. I don't expect it to be more than $3000 usd at most. I could be wrong though.
  5. No but I will probably watch some of the coverage.
  6. Toolnut posted a sneek peek of a new table saw developed by Festool that will include flesh sensing technology. I don't know if it has been confirmed for North America yet but if the rumors are true it will be coming to North America.
  7. My sysrock, guide rail stop, pica dry pencil, and 4 port fast charger arrived yesterday. I also picked up a Tough System tote with handle and a DeWALT DCGG571B grease gun from Builders/DoitBest today. Wanted the tote to keep empty in the vehicle for if I need to fill it with loose stuff from work to use at the jobsite. Beats using cardboard boxes. Also going to use the grease gun for future use on some new equipment I am planning on buying. Neither were on sale but the prices weren't bad.
  8. what is the kelvin of this light? Is it more blue or more white in color?
  9. Wow there are a lot more exhibitors than I expected once I figured out there was multiple locations on the website exhibitor map.
  10. Anyone going to be watching coverage of this event? Anything you guys are wanting to see? I noticed that Bosch, DeWALT, and Makita are not on the exhibitor list. Seems odd they aren't attending since they attended this event in the past years.
  11. Bought a 2019 train calendar because trains and also got the DeWALT 4 port fast charger using the YELLOW promo code acme was doing today.
  12. So what exactly is this? a box to hold the bit boxes and batteries? or is it some kind of powered box?
  13. I wonder if they will release a multihead system for their commercial line.
  14. Dewalt does not make a 6-1/2 in 20v max saw that is brushless.

    To The Crew

Christmas and new years should be enjoyable. My family is doing secret santa this year. I try to put lots of thought into each gift I give to make it fit with the recipients of the gifts I give. I decided to build my gift this year and hopefully it turns out okay.
  16. @Tx_woodworker will you include any original/innovative features to your bench?
  17. @KC_Tool is a good place to check out. Lots of Quality brands to choose from.
  18. I would expect similar prices to the Supercut. Maybe some attachments like the dust adapter will be included in the more expensive kit. I like that the cordless Vecturp uses Starlock Max.
  19. Oh nice. The tote is another thing I was interested in getting. It would beat using carboard boxes to carry around loose items. My boss likes them but they are almost always falling appart and if cleaner or something is leaking, it is only a matter of time before the box no longer is blocking the leak.
  20. it is $119 on Acme which is a pretty good deal. normally $149
  21. I want to try the cordless vecturo which is basically a supercut. Hopefully the performance is on par with the supercut. I already have the Festool batteries so it makes a bit more sense.
