  1. So Sears royal pissed me off by taking 17 days to deal with my Witte screwdriver order and they casually email me today to tell me the cancelled it. Every other time I've ordered it's shipped from Knipex so I'm guessing they're pulling out because Sears/Kmart is slowly crashing and burning. I ended up with $30 in ShopYourWay points once they refunded the points from the Witte order and I had $4 in surprise points for orders at Sears over $25. After literally searching for 2 hours I finally found something worth buying that used up all of my regular points and wasn't Craftsman. I picked up the Wera Kraftform Plus 6 pc. Screwdriver Set for $31.44. Now I get to play the waiting game and see if it actually shows up on the 3rd or if it follows this same disaster route the Witte stuff did. If this gets cancelled I'm going to get some Gearwrench 1/4" drive sockets or some Sunex impact sockets and just keep repeating this search and order process until I finally get my $30 worth of products and it's on my doorstep.
  2. Sears cancelled my Witte order and are apparently refunding my points/money. Now I get to play "what supplier hasn't pulled stock yet" because I refuse to waste the points. That's fine though, I'd rather give @KC_Tool business than Sears anyway. Of course Sears emailed me from a no-reply account so I can't tell them how I feel about this 17 day wait BS they call customer service.
  3. As others have said, a 120v table saw. Give me the option to plug it in when I can and use two batteries when I can't. I also like the idea of a Flexvolt pressure washer, mainly because I'm looking into electric ones at the moment and it would be nice to not have to deal with gas or power cords. A Flexvolt router (even if it's the 611) would be nice, I want a cordless router but can't bring myself to invest in Ridgid or Ryobi for one tool.
  4. What's going on with Sears? I'm still waiting on three Witte screwdrivers I ordered on the 10th and they are still as of this afternoon looking into the issue and I currently have $14 in points that I need to spend.
  5. Looks like they have a new mask type out M2.5. https://rzmask.com/collections/m2-5-masks
  6. If they are anything like the chalk lines they won't be available in store until several months after release.
  7. You're welcome. @77Ford commented on my Instagram post about this and let me know that the 200 piece set is also on sale until 4/30 for $89. I don't need either set really but for that price I'm thinking of picking up the big set.
  8. It's a hell of a deal, you basically pay for the battery and charger and get a free saw. @justinkendall picked up the circular saw with that deal and has no regrets about it. I actually didn't realize they were still doing this deal, I need to pick up both the circular saw and Sawzall.
  9. Through April 30th Home Depot has the Dewalt 108pc Mechanics Tool Set for $60 marked down from $91. http://www.homedepot.com/p/DEWALT-Mechanics-Tool-Set-108-Piece-DWMT73801/205806317
  10. Mine magically updated from "Processing" to "Preparing to Ship" Friday morning after I mentioned they hadn't shipped yet on Instagram. I'm guessing the snow that rolled through the Northeast at the beginning of the week was a problem in my case, but I would have expected it to ship Thursday since my foam from CT was able to ship then. My main concern is whether all three screwdrivers will be in the box when it shows up since they've screwed that up in the past.
  11. Still no Witte screwdrivers and it's been 8 days. The Gearwrench T25 bit socket showed up and I ordered some 30mm Kaizen foam to redo my Milwaukee battery box.

    Burned

Yeah @justinkendall's Milwaukee M18 7-1/4" saw came in the retail box with the packing label slapped on it from Home Depot. Thankfully he was home when it arrived because I have no doubt it would have been a very enticing target for anyone who saw it on the front step. If the tool manufacturer would ship it inside a box so should the retailers.
  13. I was looking forward to this Milwaukee announcement and then I find out it's tape measures that won't be available in the US and question why all the Instagram accounts were asked to help announce it. I didn't even find out about the far more interesting M18 Fuel Metal Cutting Circular Saw until several hours later. I don't know what all the fuss is about with tape measures. The sockets, and the hammers were different, not sure why Milwaukee is working towards having 100 different tapes.
  14. I haven't bought really anything recently because I'm saving up for the Flexvolt table saw and a 18g brad nailer. Not sure what brand nailer to get. I'm torn between waiting for the new gen of 18v Makita's to role out (just saw the new 23g Pinner on Instagram so I assume other gauges are coming), the pneumatic Makita AF505N, or going with Grex or Cadex so it's second on the list behind the saw. I did however receive an email from ShopYourWay saying I had points expiring soon, had $24 between regular points and surprise points so I've ordered the next three Witte Insulated Slotted Screwdrivers (53704, 53705, 53706) and a Gearwrench 1/4" Drive T-25 Bit Socket. Paid $7.42 which is pretty good since without the bit socket I would have paid $8.25 for the amount not covered by points and the shipping. Might as well save $0.83 and get the bit socket at that point. I need to remember to get a shot of the inside of my Klein backpack once these come in as it's filling up nicely. I also haven't been on here as often because Tapatalk has completely screwed up everything and I'm not getting notifications.
  15. That's great, $389 for a kit with a dual port charger and two 5.0 batteries, bare tool is $279. Even if I had a bunch of batteries I'd probably spend the extra $110 because you can't get a single 5.0 for that cheap let alone two of them.
  16. How long did it take to cut through the 2" thick wood? Whenever I see someone doing something with an X-Carve it's usually less than a half inch of material. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Ordered a couple more Witte insulated slotted screwdrivers to use up ShopYourWay points. Screwdrivers were free because of points. I had to pay shipping. $6 was a pretty good deal though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I pasted the wrong link, apparently there are multiple models of the CS85. http://www.milwaukeetool.eu/powertools/corded/cs-85-cbe-3/ That link isn't showing photos for me even though the Google result shows the above image. The dutch page for it actually loads the image. http://de.milwaukeetool.eu/elektrowerkzeug/kabelgefuhrte-gerate/cs-85-cbe/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. While these photos are fake, Milwaukee has a track saw or track compatible saw available in Europe called the CS85. The photo Toolaholic posted on instagram is right from its product page. http://www.milwaukeetool.eu/powertools/corded/cs-85-sb/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I want to thank @Stercorarius again, the sander showed up today and I plan to put it to use this evening. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Knowing it can be found for $39 is the main reason I haven't bought it. At my local store it's still marked $99 and it still scans that way. I've seen the Milwaukee one before at $79 on sale, so I'm just waiting for my store to have one or the other at a lower price before buying. I don't need a compact blower that much, but it's one of those things that would be nice to have. If I'm going to pay $99 for a blower, I might as well pay the extra $50 and get the big Milwaukee OPE one.
  22. Decided to order a Dewalt DNP618 edge guide for my 611 compact router. I had ShopYourWay points expiring plus bonus points. Retails for $16 on Sears and Amazon, CPO wanted $22 before it's Presidents Day sale, and Acme wants $25. Cost me $7.91 after points and over $4 of that was shipping. It's always better when I can find things that have free shipping, but I can't complain when it's half price.
  23. Band saws need fences, so I ordered the Powertec BS900RF rip fence because it supposedly fits my little Ryobi band saw. It arrived today and it does indeed fit! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Well, that answers my question about whether Acme would have it available as a kit since they didn't bother to get back to me. It also tells me where to get it. $110 difference between the bare tool and the kit makes it a no brainer, two 5.0 batteries and a dual port charger normally cost $259.
